Came over for a family wedding, the accommodation was booked by the “Bride To Be” who lives on the Island so relied on her good judgment. Well we couldn’t have found a better place. It’s literally 200 metres from the Port Terminal which is great, we were met by Myra who is Scott’s (Owner) mum, she was really helpful with local advice etc. We had one of the Self Catering flats which was great, clean, tidy and everything you need if you wanted to cook in-house. The supermarket, Pub’s and Seasalt Restaurant are minutes away. So all in all a brilliant 3 days, thanks again Myra and Scott, it was great getting to know you and we’ll be back again……

From our first inquiry to the end of our stay Coral was delightfully helpful to us. The accommodation was exactly what we needed and so well run including extra care to protect against Covid. On the day we left our car broke down and we were assured that keeping the use of our room many hours beyond the usual departure time wasn't a problem. Fixing the car felt so much less stressful because Coral was so nice to us.

We stayed here during an Island hoping trip. The accommodation was nice and in line with prices on Islay. Our room has a sea view, so we could see across the bay, although slightly obscured with other buildings. Breakfast was good and well cooked. The only (small) negative was that we could have done with more room to hang things in the room. A special mentioned should be made about Coral who ran the guest house, she was a very good host and looked after all her guests well. We were there during COVID-19 restriction and everything was handled well.

Room Tip: sea view, we also went for a B&B room but the self catering looked good.

Brilliant wee guest house located right in the centre of Port Ellen near the ferry terminal. Very easy to find and near most of the local tourist attractions. Coral (owner) was extremely helpful and friendly. I requested a vegan breakfast, and she went out of her way to facilitate this for me, and it was very yummy. The bed was very comfy and I had a great night sleep. The room, bathroom, and dining area was very clean. The shower was nice and warm, and very powerful. There was plenty of parking here too. They provided information regarding local services and amenities. It was great value for money, but you can book it cheaper if you book it directly through them. They have also put in good measures regarding COVID-19. 10/10 and I'll certainly stay again!

Very stupidly decided that a camping holiday on Islay was a good idea. Dispossessed of this notion when Storm Ellen dispossessed us from our tent at 2.00 in the morning. What to do? No ferries running because of the storm so had to find alternative accommodation and quickly. Enter Coral and Scott from Cala Sith guest house in Port Ellen. Saviours. Coral is warm, friendly, sincere and genuine and cooks a mean full Scottish. The guest house was five star compared to our tent which was now probably doing duty as a sail somewhere in Scandinavia. Dry warm and comfortable and welcoming. When we return to Islay we will head straight for Cala Sith. Forget the camping nonsense. Cala Sith gives you warm hospitality in a great location on my now favourite Scottish island. Forget a coral sea. Let Coral see to you.
