We booked a deluxe room and if this was deluxe I would hate to stay in a standard room. The reception was very unwelcoming, and totally uninterested. When we went to the room it was next to a busy road and it was noisy. The room was very dusty and appeared not to have been cleaned properly. A fan was...

Standard room which had not been refurbished in need of decoration but clean and comfy bed we stayed as a DBB package including a bottle of wine on arrival. Receptionist very welcoming checked in early no problems had a lovely lunch and spent some time with the dog in the gardens (hotel allows dogs at £20 per night) weather wasn't...

Stayed here a while back and it was honestly fantastic. Used the gym sauna steamroom Jacuzzi and pool. Room was gorgeous and food was definitely 10 out of 10. Absolutely gorgeous food. Highly recommended

When we arrived the room appeared lovely, (we were staying in room 2) and the staff very friendly. However, it was stuffy and roasting hot! The windows didn't open and appeared to be welded shut! We went down to reception and my husband asked if there was anyway the windows could be opened. The staff could not have been nicer...

Just returned from 2 nights staying in the Clyde suite. After numerous stays here over a few years this place never disappoints. Relaxed friendly atmosphere. All staff are great but our wee waitress Amy was fab and allowed me to mix and match things from the menu. My Food was all great and the steak wad cooked to perfection. The...

Visit here regularly. As always the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Clyde Suite and, although it was a bit dark, it was modern and very comfortable. The food was delicious as usual though I would not have the risotto again. Looking forward to our next visit!

The staff are just lovely and so attentive but sadly the venue is run down and the food is very tired . Beautiful setting but sadly doesn't cut it . We felt very disappointed in the quality of the dishes and the menus was very limited . We would love to come back when things improve .

Just home from an overnight stay with my husband and everything about the hotel was just perfect. We stayed in the Clyde Suite as a treat and we were thrilled to open the door to it. The decor is very tranquil and peaceful, you have a separate living area, a bedroom with the most comfortable bed and the bathroom is...

I booked an Afternoon Tea Experience here as I seen it advertised on Groupon. It was a great deal and I was keen to try the Poppinjay as I had heard so many good reviews. The Champagne Afternoon Tea was lovely and there was a great selection. The atmosphere was upbeat and the hotel busy. After this we went to...
