We received a warm welcome to this lovely family home. A ground floor suite, twin bedded bright airy bedroom, attractive full bathroom. All amenities available . House key given and telephone number for local taxi to return from wedding which all worked very well. David , perfect host, gave us a lift to the wedding which was most generous. After a...

Excellent welcome from the outset. Rooms beautifully appointed and a very friendly and open environment throughout. Husband of the house volunteered to drop us at the Hotel for the wedding and a local Taxi dropped us back. Great sleep and a quite outstanding breakfast with fruit/Home made jams/beautifully prepared cooked breakfast. The whole experience was outstanding.

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding in the area and we had a lovely stay. Room was very comfortable with everything we could have asked for. Breakfast was excellent with delicious fresh fruit followed by a lovely choice of full cooked breakfast. Caroline (and her daughter who was there to show us in as we were arriving...

I visited Braefield based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. From the warm welcome we received when we arrived to the lovely presented room and ensuite (with my favourite roll top bath). What topped it all off was the delicious breakfast. Caroline was very welcoming. If we ever need a place to stay in Biggar again Braefield B&B...

My Cousin and I stayed at Braefield on our way to the Scottish Highlands. It is a lovely guest house and Caroline is extremely welcoming and willing to accommodate any requirements you may have. It is in a most delightful area and although we only stayed the one night we would definitely stay there again if we were visiting the...

This served as a great stopover en route to the Scottish Highlands. The rooms were perfect for us all as a family and the beds extremely comfortable. Supper was delicious and breakfast certainly set us up for the day, with masses to choose from and lots of flexibility regarding timing. Caroline was lovely, very thoughtful and easy going. Definitely somewhere...

We stayed on our way up to the Isle of Skye and on the way back South. Braefield is in a delightful location, amongst fields and woods yet only a few minutes' drive from Biggar with its shops, pubs and restaurants. There is a stream in the garden and it is peacefully quiet. Rooms are beautifully decorated with tasteful bathrooms...

Two nights 14th and 15th June 2016. Spent one night here back in 2015 on our way back home. This time we wanted to break our journey from home to the Isle of Sky and sample the local walking. Still an excellent B&B and Caroline is a great host. Can recommend the Cowgill Reservoirs Walk and the wonderful Taj Mahal...

Excellent upstairs bedroom and en-suite. Beds extremely comfortable, roomy bathroom and shower. Caroline very welcoming and provided lovely breakfasts with a range of food and timings. She was very attentive to our requirements and nothing too much trouble. Would certainly return if in the area. Local Biggar museum extremely well set out and interesting.
