What an absolute DELIGHT! The retreat is immaculate, cozy, comfortable, tasteful and DELICIOUS! The views from any window are beautiful and the hospitality is a warm as can be! We rode our Honda motorcycles there with the intent of also riding Tail of the Dragon rode. After making it up the mountain to the retreat, let alone the driveway, why...

My husband and I were in the area for a family wedding. We wanted a quiet, relaxing place to stay to offset the commotion of the wedding activities. We found it! The retreat was peaceful and we loved the special amenities such as the towel warmer, the hot tub and the robes. Breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed dining with...

You will not regret staying here. Two wonderful days soaking up the beauty of the surroundings really made us sad to head down the mountain when our retreat was over. Mary and Jim are gracious, friendly and envelope you as family. The waffles are so light you just have to smother them in all the toppings to keep them from...

We had 2 nights in the Forest View room as part of a 3 week road trip. The room itself was magnificent (yes, great bed); lots of space; right by the woods as the name implies. Wood everywhere. Good views towards the mountains. Maybe the best aspect was lying in the hot tub after dark, watching the fireflies dancing against...

We are pleased that you enjoyed your hot-tub experience under the stars. It is also good to hear that our dinner was satisfying and that you liked the breakfasts. Being a B&B two things are important to us, guests having a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast. Thanks for visiting and thank you for your kind review.

Our stay was amazing! The Retreat home was beautiful and absolutely gorgeous! Jim and Mary the hosts, were so friendly and kind. Their hospitality made you feel right at home. We were in the Fest view room and it was very spacious and I loved the privacy of it. Breakfast was amazing! Each dish looked like it came right from...

Thanks for your wonderful review. We are pleased that you found us the perfect setting for some rest, relaxation and romance. You mentioned the beds! We get excited when guests mention how great our beds feel. We spared no expense to provide guests with the best nights sleep they will ever have and many have asked where they too can...

To say it is immaculate, looks brand new, supremely comfortable, personally and tastefully decorated, equipped with state of the art bathing and steam shower equipment, and very well hosted with warmth isn't saying enough about Jim and Mary's home and B&B. Stayed for three nights at New Years weekend. Waffles one day with more toppings than you could apply, and...

Thank you for your glowing review. We have tried to be, as you say, "immaculate, looking brand new, being supremely comfortable, with personal and tasteful decorations." We certainly appreciate it when guests take note of how hard we try to make them comfortable. You are right, we are challenged by the mountain road in winter, we have only cancelled guests...

Our stay here was amazing in every way! It was our 1year anniversary and we stayed four nights in the Bear Room. Everything from the shower, to the hot tub, big screen tv, to breakfast etc. was first class and I can't forget the GLORIOUS VIEW of the smoky mountains right outside the window! Jim and Mary were excellent host...
