Elsay May is located in the gently rolling hills above Turnberry. Enjoy stunning sunsets with gorgeous views of Ailsa Craig and the Isle of Arran. The three unique lodges each have their own. This is a dog friendly site where pets can roam freely in the comfort and security of their own gardens. Also set within the garden area there is a rustic gazebo with large fire bowl/bbq with utensils for cooking. The lodges are themed with countryside fabrics and furnished with locally made, bespoke rustic pine furniture including a table and chairs for dining. High up in the pointed ceilings hang grand rustic chandeliers while fresh, crisp bed linen, quilted throws and scatter cushions adorn the large wooden beds. Cosy fireside chairs covered in tweedy plaid sit in front of the Hygge wood burning stove. Warm tartan throws hang over the backs of the fireside chairs and a rich, woollen tartan rug covers the natural wood flooring. Each lodge has its own en suite bathroom with shower, toilet, hand basin and soft fluffy towels. Table mats and napkins continue with the lodge themes in the dining area. Lodges are equipped with a sink, fridge, microwave, hot plate, kettle and toaster (fresh milk, coffee, tea and sugar are also provided). Soft, fluffy bath and hand towels, robes and slippers, shower gel, soap and shampoo are also provided. Elsay May is a dog friendly site and we are happy to provide dogs beds, a dog goodie bag and a secure, private garden to keep your pets safe and happy. A small charge for dogs staying is payable on site. Each lodge is located within it's own private garden, secured by rustic post and rail fencing and native hedging to help encourage a natural habitat for a variety of wildlife. Guests can take advantage of the 'little extras' offered by the owners.

We stayed here for 2 nights and brought our 3 dogs who were welcomed with open arms. We stayed in Pheasant Cottage which is furnished and equipped to an incredibly high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything you could need was there. There was even a lovely dog bed set up. The hot tub was an added bonus. We loved the log burning stove too.
We ordered the 2 course evening meal both nights and everything was delicious, fresh and piping hot. The portions were generous too.
Malcolm and Margaret were fabulous hosts.

We loved our short break and would love to return.

Stayed for 2 nights and what can I say, it’s probably the most beautiful, relaxed and just absolutely perfect! Margaret and Malcolm treat you like a VIP!
Cottage is absolutely spotless, you can tell they take cleanliness very seriously.
On arriving we parked our car a 10 seconds walk from the lodges and were greeted so welcoming by Margaret and Malcolm. They took us to the cabin which is just the most cutest little thing but has everything you need plus more xx
Amazing bed so comfy , brilliant showers gorgeous hot tub . We ordered breakfast and it arrived piping hot and definitely so tasty..this is a place to stay and if they could get more than 5 stars they should!! Loved every minute so thank you Malcolm and Margaret xx

We had the best couple of days here with our two dogs. Margaret and Malcolm are brilliant hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them and they we were made to feel very welcome, as were our dogs. We stayed in The Burrow, it was beautifully themed and exactly as shown in the pictures. It was spotless and had everything we could possibly need, everything was thought of. The dogs had comfy beds, bowls, poo bags and welcome packs which was really lovely.

The hot tub was great, we were grateful to have dressing gowns and slippers provided and plenty of towels. We enjoyed sitting in here admiring the view.

We ordered a two course dinner one night and breakfast the following morning. It all arrived piping hot and absolutely delicious, would highly recommend!

We can't praise this place enough and can't wait to come back with the dogs!

We stayed at Elsay May for 2 nights and had the most relaxing stay we could have wished for! Stunning setting, absolutely gorgeous lodges and a really friendly welcome from Malcolm, Margaret and Maureen. The dog also had a great time and was treated to a welcome pack which she was delighted with! Absolutely every detail had been thought about in the design of the lodge. The hot tub was a real highlight of our stay and helped us feel in the lap of luxury. We can also thoroughly, thoroughly recommend the home cooked food on offer, especially the fruit crumble! We'll definitely be coming back.

We booked up as a last minute getaway and we were not disappointed! The lodges are fantastic! We stayed in the pheasant cottage and our Greyhound loved the enclosed garden and the field round the back. The cabin itself is cosy, charming and smells so good! The view is incredible from the hot tub (right over to Ailsa Craig) and its pretty close to Aye and Girvan for trips out. Malcolm and Margaret are fantastic. Just really, really nice people. It didnt feel like a holiday, it felt like home.

We will be back!

5*!
Had an amazing weekend at The Glen lodge, was a birthday treat and on arrival there a bottle of wine, card, some birthday balloons and banner! Was a lovely touch.

Cosy lodge, bedding was VERY comfy, at first I thought no way I'll sleep with the thick covers, but it was so soft and comfy.

Hot tub was great, was a bit warm for us on the first night, but we still got use out of it over the weekend - since we remembered to lift the lid a bit earlier

To summarise - we did not want to leave! Would defo recommend to any couple needing a peaceful break.

Lovely hosts, the food was the best.
So cosy and every attention to detail was fantastic. Love the rabbit decor, handmade wood furniture, I slept like a log.
