We had a fantastic day here. Short walk up to the lovely restaurant and gift shop then a wander down to the castle. The castle was fantastic, full of wonderful heritage and a really enjoyable experience for everyone. I'm in a wheelchair and this was no problem for anyone there. The children loved playing in the castle play area too... More

This is a hard review to write as some aspects of the hotel were fabulous while other aspects make a stay here - less than perfect. The Culzean Castle (The Scots pronounce it cuhl-leen) is a massive building with gardens and acres of woods and fields plus numerous outbuildings. It is a designated national Scottish treasure and is maintained by... More

For such a large castle we received a warm , personal welcome. The castle and grounds are beautiful and the staff is so accommodating. Each staff member was so kind and willing to share their knowledge of the castle and the local area. We did not feel like going out for dinner one night and they put together an Ashet... More

Its a little expensive like a lot of the heritage sites but it was beautifully done. You could take all day wandering the grounds. Beautiful gardens, the deer, alpacas and other wildlife were nice. It doesnt take long to go through the castle however there are a lot of things to look at. The staff are lovely and went over... More

I'm not supposed to be writing this review per the kids as they don't want anyone else to go there and spoil it. But this is where I found you so, I think it's only fair. We booked the Eisenhower Suite and The Gault, both with magnificent views! I can't say enough about the staff, Billy Young was our server... More
