Detailed Reviews
welcoming, friendly, homely, a breakfast to die for, beautiful surroundings. From the moment i arrived i was made to feel at home, and i really did feel at home, i would go just for the locally sourced breakfast, especially the sausages. i cannot wait to return, which wont be long.

My stay with Chris and Anne has been lovely and I would recommend staying with them, they can’t make you feel more welcome into their home. The bedroom and bathroom was extremely clean and you couldn’t ask for a nicer couple to stay with. Very friendly couple and the breakfasts were amazing every time.

My husband booked this place and I didn’t know what to expect. It was beautiful with lovely hosts and exceptional room. We stayed in the flat, which was perfect, comfortable and private. We had breakfast in the main house, large portions, lots of choice and tasty! The gardens and views are amazing too.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a very nice large room on the lower floor with a large bathroom next door. Anne gave us a very warm welcome and made our stay very pleasant and we soon found lots of things in common to chat about.
We were staying there to watch the Ricoh Ladies British Open at Turnberry.
Highly recommended and although quite rural is easy to find with the postcode and sat nav.

I have stayed at Garryloop several times and have always been delighted with the experience.
I particularly enjoy the flexibility of the cottage allowing visitors to prepare evening meals. It boasts a lovely en-suite bedroom, entrance hall and a recently decorated sitting room/ kitchen equipped with sofa, easy chair and dining table/chairs. In addition there is a cooker/hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and an ample supply of crockery and utensils etc.. I also discovered on my recent visit the addition of a glass lean-to with comfortable seating, ideal to sit with a cup of tea overlooking the beautiful gardens.

I've stayed here many times and would choose it over any hotel - for its beautiful location, comfort, outstanding food (most of which is home grown), but above all for the general quality of the Daltons' friendly welcome which always makes me feel that I'm coming home rather than leaving home.

The newly decorated flat offers superb and comfortable accommodation in one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland. The flat comprises of a double bedroom with en-suite, hall, conservatory and dining//kitchen/living area. The TV reception and channel coverage is good as is the internet access. There is good secure car parking. Chris and Ann always make you feel most welcome and the highest compliment I can pay Ann's breakfast is that it is the only breakfast I ever eat with no added sauces!! I would highly recommend it to anyone. Dr Steve Daley

"Both rooms are lovely; the upstairs room is slightly smaller, ideal for a couple, with a very soft and snuggly bed, plenty of wardrobe space and a view over the fields opposite, whereas the downstairs room is slightly larger, with twin beds which then come together to form a huge double bed. The flat is also lovely, with a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen / lounge for those who like to have a little more space to relax."Read full review
