Detailed Reviews
We stayed at the Auld creamery while working at the local wind farm. Martin and Lynda made us very welcome with fantastic rooms, great food and interesting conversation. We stayed on and off for over a month and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
If you want peace and quiet this is the place to stay. The river at the back of the house is very interesting and the wild life is great.
Thanks for making the time to take the several deliveries we had sent up, this was a great help.
If you're in the area and you need a place to stay this is the venue, you will not be dissapointed!
We will be back!

We stayed here just one night and were made very welcome and very comfortable. Linda and Martin are excellent hosts and provide their guests with all they may need. Their two cats are a bonus for cat-lovers, but are not introduced until Linda is sure they are welcome..... Highly recommended.

Martin & Linda worked very hard to make our 4 nights stay as enjoyable as possible. The Auld Creamery is a heritage building so you can expect sloping floors & shelves and a bit of home-handyman adaption. Only the main bedroom has an en-suite. Martin loves doing his breakfasts and having chats. Linda is very excited with all visitors. The B&B is 13kms from Girvan in a quiet village of about 13 houses. We enjoyed our stay very much because of our hosts and their generosity.

Ideally priced and located to catch the ferry to Larne. Nice rooms and really friendly owners. Lovely view from the back of the building. Defo stay again if catching an early ferry home. Sat nav gets confused finding the place though lol

The owners are lovely people who make you feel more at home then home, we were given the run of the living room, outside patio seating and our bedrooms of which we booked 3 for a family road trip, staying here on our last night. The games room and sauna was not available but the lounge, super friendly cats (and you can brush them) and use of the kitchen made up for this anyway. Being night owls the lounge made "our freedom" to sit and chat into the early hours an option, whereas some places you are limited just to the bedroom, so this was a lovely touch. Nice products in the bathroom and plenty of fluffy towels. Breakfast has lots of choice, seated at a window with lovely scenic views and bird feeders with a host of different species to watch as they come and go, remarkably ignored by the 2 gorgeous resident cats. I would recommend this little gem f a place 100% for the chance to chill out, recharge, and meet the owners who greet you and treat you like old friends

Gavin and I live down south but come from north Ayrshire but wanted a quiet night to ourselves after a hectic family holiday. My son booked it and it was somewhere we had never been but fell in love with the countryside. The house is beautiful and the room could be in a top hotel to which we have experienced. The bed and furniture and decor was very high end and very pristine. The couple who own it are very nice and made us feel very welcome. The pictures don't do it justice and the outside view from the garden at the back was peaceful and very pretty.
I would love to go back and recommend this lovely place to my friends. Breakfast was excellent also.

We stayed here for only one night, and it was a very good stay. We know now that we have a place to stay whenever we are in the area again. Martin and Linda welcomed us, and we felt right at home immediately. We had access to the kitchen for coffee etc. They hosts like to have a chat if you are up for it, and of course the cats are just as friendly,
I can recommend this little place. Clean, friendly, and wonderful breakfast.
