This holiday park sits on the outskirts of the Galloway forest dark sky park, this was our first time staying here and we were impressed to say the least. The owner was very friendly and helpful and our glamping pods were beautiful, everything was catered for, it has to be one of the best glamping pod we have stayed in, from underfloor heating, all towels and bedding was provided, the bed was so comfy and a private decked area with hot tub, everything was brand new and finished to a high standard. Its a wonderful place to star gaze if the weather is good and each pod has enough privacy from the rest of the park. There is loads of beautiful peacocks hanging around the park and were very entertaining to watch. We cant recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back soon.

We stayed at the Sun Rise Mega Pod with the pup in August and had the best time. We loved that the deck was private and enclosed for the pup to roam about while we were in the hot tub.
We had lovely weather the a very clear sky the first night that we could star gaze while in the hot tub and it was a magical experience.
Loved the bbq which we used both nights for dinner, we loved seeing the cows come up close to us at the fence and the peacocks wandering about freely.
We will be hopefully be back again very soon.

Just back from a couple of nights in the Carrick Pod. Our first time in a pod and it was very comfortable and just the right temperature for October. Hot Tub was lovely and clean. Hosts were there if needed without being "pushy". Unfortunately, it was too cloudy the nights we were there for much star gazing but you could feel just how dark the sky was and how good it would have been if it wasn't for those pesky clouds!

We've just had an amazing 3 nights in the new Sunrise glamping pod....oh my word, its beautiful! Brand new, super clean and comfortable brilliantly set out, really private with a full size hot tub on the very private deck. I can't rate this place highly enough, so friendly and welcoming, a really good price too. The park is family friendly, with a brilliant play park, and yet quiet and peaceful as well. We've stayed here a few times over the years, starting with camping, which was also a superb experience. This holiday park is in a beautiful spot, countryside to walk or ride in all around. But, its also within easy reach of all the great places to visit in the Ayrshire and Galloway area. If you're looking for a place in Scotland, to have a brilliant holiday...you've found it, don't hesitate 😊 Photos are of the hot tub on our deck....and Ailsa Craig...taken from Girvan beach last night, 20 minutes down the road from Queensland Holiday Park.

This was the quiet and peaceful retreat both me and my partner needed. No stress and a very straightforward experience. We loved the pod our dog loved pod. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy and warm. Well worth the money and just easy going. The hosts were super friendly and there if you needed them but out the way too.
