Brilliant location and views, we stayed in Aaran 3 ( Pet ) accommodation, the views off the balcony and through the patio doors is spectacular, probably made all the more impressive with the blustery weather and heavy sea. The Aaran chalet is very impressive and immaculately presented and spotlessly clean, every home comfort you could imagine, the main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a walking in wardrobe, bed very comfy and has all the appointments you would expect. the twin bedroom with the bathroom across the corridor is equally well presented. The kitchen has a gas hob and cooker, microwave , fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher with a dining table and four chairs. The lounge area is very impressive too and very comfortable with an electric coal effect fire , TV and blue ray player. There is a two seater couch and three seater ( which doubles as a sofa bed which we didn't use due to there being just the three of us ). All in all we were very impressed with the accommodation, just one thing though it's shown as a 6 berth , it would be very crowded with 6 adults. There is some noticeable noise from the road but it didn't bother us and unless you are a very light sleeper not something to worry about. Parking is on the main car park only a short distance from the chalet and is well. The staff are very helpful and dealt with our every need , my wife and daughter had a Spa treatment which they raved about and loved the pool too. We only used the bistro for a couple of brews as we had the pooch with us and she couldn't leave her in on her own ( site direction ), we had a takeaway on our last night which was very good , huge portions and very reasonably priced. There is a good walk through the site for those with dogs which leads past some private cottages which you can continue past and along the coast. All in all an ideal place for relaxing and enjoying spectacular views.

The accommodation was spotless,we stayed in Aisla 5,the view of Aisla Craig is stunning, sunsets are truly beautiful, the on site bistro serves fabulous food, the pool is great as are the massages. The beach is not accessible, but you can walk on beaches near by. The only thing that spoiled the whole experience was the noise from the road, it woke us up a night. If you live by a road it probably wouldn't bother you, but we live in a very quiet location. Note we used our phones as hotspots to enable us to watch online streaming, the onsite WiFi is of low quality. A lovely week all in all.

What a lovely place. I knew from the moment we pulled up by the look of the reception and spa building that the park was going to be lovely. We stayed in Alisa 3 (pet) it was spotless especially considering it was a pet friendly lodge.

The main bedroom was very spacious compared to previous lodges we’ve stayed and it had a full sized bath in the ensuite. The staff were very friendly and having the use of the pool was a bonus.

The view ‘wow’ breathtaking on a lovely Sunny day.

The thing that could have made it better would have been an on-site shop as the nearest one was around 5 miles away.

Great holiday, highly recommend.

Stayed for six days out of seven

Location is ideal except for traffic noise

Holiday was fine until manager told myself and children to keep noise down when in an empty pool. They were not noisy

Made us feel unwanted and uncomfortable. Children just wanted to swim and enjoy themselves. Left holiday early. Kids were unhappy to go back

Site rates itself five stars. Have to disagree based on over zealous management

Besides the traffic noise, laundry facilities on site not great. Washing machine in lodge has do not use stickers all over it. Why have a facility if you cannot use it?

I would not recommend if you are a family

This is our 4th time at this park, the accommodation this time was exceptionally spacious, clean with spectacular views of Paddy (Ailsa Craig) seen a family of seals just swimming past . Had a lovely meal at the on-site spa, food was exceptional best we have tasted in a long time. Took a nice drive to Stranraer and Port Patrick, lovely beach walks at Ballantrae. Staff are so friendly and helpful booking again for May 2024. If looking for a relaxing stress free break this is the place to go.

Just left this wonderful gem of a place after a lovely week there. It is perfect if you want to get away from it all. We stayed in Arran Lodge 1 (3 adults) and it was gorgeous plenty of space for us with everything you could possibly need and the view was just spectacular. Yes as some reviews say you can hear the traffic but this didn't bother us as you could her the sea more than traffic and also it did die down at night. The holiday park has a lovely spa that we used most days, the swimming pool is nice and not to big and you can also use the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna again all lovely and beautifully clean. Myself and my daughter also enjoyed a back neck and shoulder massage definitely recommend this. We ate at the bistro a few times had a breakfast and dinner and the quality of the food was second to none, would have liked to taken the chef home with us, definitely recommend the stuffed chicken with creamy mash and the Haggis neeps and tatties stack. The takeaway is also good. All the staff there are super friendly and work so hard in order to make your stay the best. We also had a Indian one night at Yasmins in Girvan again very nice. We also got the train from Girvan to Ayr one day lovely little seaside town .All in all if you want a holiday away from it all this is certainly one for you. Might not be the best place though if you like to go lots of different places and like fast paced holidays.

Stayed in the Arran 03 end of June.

Caravan was lovely and modern and very clean, with spectacular views over the water.

We ate in the bistro twice and both times the service and food was very good.

Girvan beach is 20 mins away but the beach at Ballantrae 10 mins in the other direction was also lovely and that village has a shop and pub etc ( caravan park has no bar )

Our only issue is with the very busy road just at the park. The traffic is 24 hours and can be noisy in an otherwise secluded area.

Starting with the positives - view is excellent. Lodge was lovely and people really friendly. The takeaway food from restaurant was exceptional. . Negatives - sold as dog friendly but the only place for the dog was the lodge. Dogs are not allowed in the buildings so cannot use the restaurant or facilities. No outside seating to allow use of the restaurant or bar. So only option is to takeaway food. The beach not very accessible due to rocks. Site is positioned on a main A road where trucks pass very regular. The lodges are only a few metres from the A road which is quite loud. There is absolutely nowhere to walk to. You need to leave the site to walk and this is along the busy A road. This makes any walk very unpleasant and seems quite dangerous particularly with dogs and children. There is nothing at all in the area. We used the car and drove 20 miles north, south and inland but still struggled to find anything to do. The town of Girvan is nearest about 8 miles away but nearly everything seemed closed and run down. There are a few other beaches which all have spectacular views but you can only walk so far before you need to do something else. There are no tea shops or bars or restaurants near by. The one tea shop we saw did not allow dogs. If you want to do nothing and not leave the lodge then is an ideal quiet retreat that you may enjoy. If you want to walk or visit any type of civilisation then maybe not. We checked out a day early and went home. All I will say is just because somewhere has a fantastic sea view does not automatically make it suitable to place lodges.

Year after year we return to this beautiful peaceful retreat.
However, this year during the Covid pandemic, I wondered how things may have changed.
Prepared with sanitizer and dettol wipes we headed north and Wow........We needn’t have worried!
As usual, we received a warm friendly welcome and the lodge we stayed in was absolutely spotless with all the extra Covid measures in place.
The view and sunsets as always were fantastic along with their amazing staff. They were on hand for advice and to ensure any questions we had were answered.
The food this year was the best ever for both presentation and taste.
Unfortunately the spa was partly closed due to Government Covid guidance but even that did not spoil our holiday due to the fantastic weather.
Thank you to Sandra, Graham, Peter and the wonderful benane shore team, for going that extra mile keeping your guests safe during this torrid pandemic.
