2 Troon Road is in a perfect location for those wanting to enjoy a golf holiday. We had a family room as even though there were only two of us it was during the Open Golf Championship and it was the only one available. For that reason the price of £200 was the going rate. The room was clean and...

Hi Helen, thanks for your review. I'm not sure if you have got mixed up with another property as our breakfasts are served in our dining room and not in a small kitchen

Beautiful, well presented bed and breakfast. Douglas was very welcoming and informative. The room was spotless, the beds luxurious, the bathroom beautifully appointed. Breakfast was delicious with piping hot coffee, toast and plenty of yummy eggs, bacon and delicious sausages. Right on the edge of Troon it's well positioned for golf, the beach and sightseeing.

Douglas was a very friendly and attentive host. The twin room that we had was spacious , clean and very comfortable. Our delicious breakfast was cooked to order using local produce. A piece of advise re parking is to watch for the turn off into the parking area immediately after the roundabout on B746, Main Street.

We had a fantastic stay here. Owner was very friendly and helpful and Freddie, the owners cockapoo, truly a delight. The room and bathroom were in excellent order, spotlessly clean, bright and very comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and greatly enjoyed. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here.

Stayed here for one night during our golf road trip around Scotland. The location is near all the golf courses in the area and has excellent choices for dinner. The drawback is the busy road on which the BnB is. Douglas is genuinely friendly and their cocapoo Freddie a trip! The bed was too small for the two of us...

Stayed for one night only. The room and the bathroom are quite small, but both new and orderly. The B&B is located at a roundabout and you can hear the cars, so if you are a light sleeper this might not be the right place for you to stay. The owner is super friendly and accomodating and we loved his...

Very welcoming staff. Spotlessly clean and modern. Very quiet location and approx 2 mile from Troon town centre which means if you're going out for dinner and enjoy a wee glass of wine then it's a bit of a walk or a short taxi ride. The Scottish breakfast was very tasty.

Good location , great host , very bright clean and modern facilities and a fantastic breakfast. Thoroughly recommend it. Why use 200 characters when you can sum up a gem such as this in one sentence .

“As all rooms are on the first floor, and access is by a staircase, then if you are infirm, and not able to climb stairs, then this would cause you a problem, which would actually be your own problem with this B&B, as everything is excellent.”
