Our latest visit to The Torridon was a return for their New Year festivities a few weeks ago. It was our second New Year spent there and it won't be our last, having booked for next year before we left. This is nothing new though, as we have been many times to The Torridon and we always rebook before we...

We came back a second time for the New Year Hogmanay package, which was even better than before, how is that possible!?! Every traditional Hogmanay touch you could think of, great atmosphere, everyone very friendly and lots of laughter (whether you wanted to join in the fun or not, either way was absolutely fine). Food was absolutely divine. Very sorry...

We stayed at the hotel for their New Year package. We really enjoyed the experience. Our room was wonderful and we enjoyed meeting new people. The hotel laid on various activities and we enjoyed some of these: clay pigeon shooting, archery and 'highland' games. We also enjoyed the Hogmanay party and the magician on January 1st.The hotel is in a...

We spent three nights at The Torridon over New Year's Eve. Unbeknownst to us - we likely overlooked this when booking - the hotel decided to make its 2013 NYE celebration a "whole house party" from the first day, which meant that breakfasts and dinners were all taken together at two long tables in the dining room. For many of...

Found by chance, as did many of our fellow guests, on the internet, this far exceeds our greatest expectations. While not cheap it gives excellent value for money. We are staying for their 5 day Christmas break which unfortunately ends tomorrow. While not the easiest of hotels to get to, which is part of its charm, the moment you are...

It was a real pleasure to have you and your wife with us over Christmas and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. The staff work very hard over the festive period and it is always great when they are appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you back. Kind regards, Dan & Rohaise

Our party spent two nights in two separate rooms recently at the haunting beautiful Torridon Hotel. The location and the Hotel itself were spectacular. The only problem were the staff, who seemed to think we worked for them. They were unwelcoming, untrained, unsuitably opinionated and brash. Unlike any of the other five star hotels we stayed at during our two...

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. The staff are not strange but professional and friendly , especially to those guests who willingly engage with them. You booked online 2 rooms that clearly state they do not have a loch view on a discounted prepay B&B rate for 1 night and then a room at...

Oh wow, just wow! We loved this hotel. The setting is achingly beautiful and our suites had views over the loch, the mountains and some picturesque highland cattle. The cheaper rooms are beautifully done but much smaller so I'm glad we upgraded (and were lucky to be able to do so as the suites were available when I asked if...

We stayed for a long weekend celebration as part of a group of 15. The entire team couldn't do enough for us either collectively or individually. This is perfect get away from it all location, although if you are keen to take part in outdoor pursuits the hotel offers lots to do, with a very qualified team offering excellent training....

stayed there for 2 nights. the location and the hotel itself is beautiful. however, several things did not quite hold what they promised. certain members of the staff have very little idea of what they are doing. for instance, they boast about their whiskey bar with 200 different malts but there is no one with any expertise on whiskey whatsoever....

Thank you for your review. It is always disappointing to hear such feedback for the first time on Tripadvisor, as we do encourage our guests to let us know if anything is wrong. Many of the staff are trained in whisky and I can only apologise if no-one was around to help you with your choice. Our bathrooms are mainly...
