The room was very comfortable , well equipped and clean if a little dated in it's décor. Breakfast was excellent with table service after helping one's self to a starter from the buffer. Evening meals can be taken in either the restaurant or the cosy bar. It was a delight to have damask table cloths and serviettes instead of the...

Enjoyed our stay here, very friendly and helpful staff, Comfortable and very very clean and the room was serviced daily which seems to be a bonus these days.We ate in the Bar and the food was average possibly a bit on the pricey side. We stayed on a room deal which was good value for money but would think twice...

Thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at morangie house to welcome in the new year. The food was excellent and the staff were attentive and gave us a warm welcome. The rooms are a good size and the hotel is in a great location to walk into town. The street party at the bells made the weekend with fireworks, ceilidh...

I cannot comment on this place as a hotel as I have only ever eaten at the restaurant. We celebrated my husbands birthday with dinner here. The setting is beautiful, the restaurant sophisticated. It is the sort of place that transports you back to the early 20th century with it's large dining room and pristine tablecloths and cutlery settings. The...

Love this hotel. Staff are friendly and welcoming and can't do enough to help you. Warm cosy hotel, rooms are beautiful and different in every room. Have stayed here many times. Views across the water are lovely. Food is beautiful with plenty to choose from, and breakfasts are fantastic with a help yourself choice also. Would recommend it every time.

Tain is such a cute little town, and it was even more special because we stayed in such a beautiful hotel. Having a four poster bed was such a charming experience. The staff was a bit random, with some people being extremely nice and others not so much, but overall a great experience.

The walk from where you park car across driveway to front door was a shallow stream of mud. Shoes, trouser hems and for wife long skirts hem became very soiled. We were called to table at 6.p00pm, but orders not t\ken until nearly 7.00pm. Albeit one of our group of a little over 30 did not appear until 6.30, but...

Well John D..... As you may or may not have known the timing of serving the meal was controlled by the organiser of the choral society. Orders were taken at 6.30 pm as instructed, and starters went out at 6.45pm? Coffees at 8.45 sounds about right, again ,coffees were served after all the sweets were finished. The choral society have been coming...
