Sorry. But in this day and age this is not a room with a shower. Could not believe it. How much would it cost to put a shower in.
At the Bar I asked for a pint of Orange and lemonade. £3.45. That’s daylight robbery.

Strathpeffer itself is just steps away from the hotel and is renowned as an attractive Highland spa resort with fabulous Victorian architecture. Be sure to enjoy the scenic views of the village below from the open veranda. The massive peak of Ben Wyvis is the backdrop to this charming village. I think there is a bust no 61 you can catch in Strathpeffer Square which passes through the scenic route to the pretty west coast fishing village of Ullapool. From there you can catch the ferry to the island of Lewis but if you can also take a return bus in the afternoon which would get you back in good time for your evening meal at the hotel. The bus is quite early but the square is just in front of the hotel. The bus does stop in Contin which I think is near Rogie falls but you may need to arrange a taxi from there. It also stops in Garve, Altguish and Braemore. If you phone D&E Coaches on 01463222444 or find their website, they may help further. There may also be special tours to Rogie falls which you could join. The hotel will also be very helpful. I hope this helps and you have a great trip.
