I loved this place. Lisa and Chester are the new owners. Both are fabulous people who visit with their guests and have great plans for their place. Breakfasts were a friendly place around their table with good food options. I think this is a real winner in the Ullapool area. It is several miles outside of Ullapool, but don't let... More

We travelled up from Norfolk for 2 weeks and have found this to be the perfect location. There is a lovely river at the bottom of the hill and if you fight your way through some bracken there is a stunning waterfall hidden away from the public a short walk away. One thing I would recommend is that there be... More

Chester and Lisa have just taken over and are planning complete upgrade of apartments over coming months. We were very comfortable and made to feel very welcome. Beautiful setting. Ideal for all travellers... More

For those interested in exploring Wester Ross and Sutherland this is an excellent location, just south of Ullapool and readily accessible by car or bike. The accommodation (self catering in our case) was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities required. The hosts Chester and Lisa were charming, very helpful and enthusiastic. We could not recommend this venue too highly,... More

As a family with two small children, we thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Braemore Square. A beautiful setting in the Highlands. Plenty of hiking trails to explore in the area. The accommodation is warm and cosy, with a Scottish theme that we loved! The new owners, Lisa and Chester, are very accommodating to any needs you may have.... More

Lovely B&B on the way to Ullapool. Just acquired by a young couple from S. Africa. Comfy rooms, great breakfast and homey ambience. Right on the river with walking paths and country feel. Nice selection of novels, DVD's and local histories.

I love everything about Braemore Square. It is by far the best place I've ever stayed for so many reasons. Let me tell you about them. First is the building and grounds. I had seen pictures, but they just don't capture the way I felt when seeing it in person. You are surrounded by trees and hills of the Highlands.... More
