Yes decor is a little dated but you know what I thought it was quirky and gave the place character. No tv or wifi in the rooms which didn't bother me personally as encourages people to go downstairs and socialise where there is a fantastic...More
very disappointed when arrived at hotel - very shabby from outside - maybe have the windows cleaned for starters? Interior very dated, but clean. We did have a large room with a stunning view over the loch, but did find it odd not to have...More
This hotel is way past it's sell by date. It DESPERATELY needs a refurbishment. As someone else mentioned shag pile carpets in a bathroom as a real no no. Also had horrid stained carpet in bedroom too. The whole place is very very tired indeed...More
The decor of the room was a dated, but it was clean and there was plenty of hot water. Bed reasonably comfortable.
Staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant meal was good - unusual fish offering for the special, whole sea bream.
The smoking area at the hotel is frequented by both staff and guests, when we stayed this continued until 1 in the morning which was rude and inconsiderate. Rooms above this area will be affected by this issue. In addition, the rooms are very tired...More

Yes we do welcome well behaved dogs, I have two wonderful Labs of my own - we do ask that dogs are treated with a flea/Tick control and that they have been wormed within six months of thier visit to us. We do not allow dogs in our restaurant or eating areas during service and we do not allow dogs on our furniture or bedding. We also remind folk that unless your dog is well trained around sheep and other farm animals that they remain on a lead - finally we ask that owners clear up after their dogs. There are some amazing walks and plenty of open spaces for your loved pets to run and play, its a haven for dogs!
