Sixteen participants and our tutor enjoyed an idyllic weekend writing retreat (organised by the Highland Literary Salon) in perfect surroundings for creative stimulation. This was aided in no small part by the Old Brewery's wonderful setting and delightful architecture. Most impressive, however, was the behind the scenes hard work, efficient care and attention of the Arts Trust staff, for whom nothing...

We stayed here after a wedding in Cromarty. It's a beautiful building and the room was very comfortable. Enough shared bathrooms not to be waiting long for a shower in the morning! We were also able to check in early to leave our bags there before the wedding started, which was very useful. Great value place to stay and also...

Our group hired the Old Brewery for a weekend writing retreat and it met every expectation. Clean, comfortable, great food, great location, helpful staff... I'd visited Cromarty before but never stayed overnight as we live fairly close. The building was quiet and peaceful with rooms available for group use and a nice outdoor area at the back. Waking to the...

I was here for the harpvillage weekend. The reception was very friendly and all the staff were very helpfull. The weekend ran down very well with nice meals and a good atmosphere. The Old Brewery is on a very quiet lane and the views on the firth and Sutor are stunning.

Neat and clean single room. Warm welcome by folks from the Trust. I'd stay there again. especially if it was for a big gathering or meeting where being co-located with the event was of benefit. Other accommodation in Cromarty also looked great. CAT have other facilities to book too.

The building itself is beautiful with plenty of common room spaces to relax and an excellent room for breakfast which is...

Returned to the Old Brewery for my second stay. Warmly welcomed by friendly staff who catered for all of the guests needs throughout the weekend. Catering was fantastic. As a venue for training the building is perfect with a large loft work space and two separate studios. Bedrooms are perfectly suited for training groups.

It was a pleasure to have stayed at the Old Brewery in Cromarty for a two-day business training course. Although I am reasonably local (Inverness area), I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this beautiful spot! -Bedrooms were clean, and very comfortable -The 'attic' where the training took place fitted all our needs -The service was just fantastic. Such a dedicated team...

Stayed here while on a field trip from uni, perfect for people who value cleanness and look for something other than a 5 star hotel. Felt very welcomed throughout my stay. Standing ovation for lady who prepared our breakfast every morning, you're a true star!
