We happened to pass this country house whilst on our way up to the falls for a walk. We went in and asked about dining there that evening. We were asked to give our selection there and then so it could be freshly prepared. We had no problem with this as the food is freshly prepared to order. We were...

I stayed at Foyers Bay Country house while kayaking up Loch Ness. The accommodation was neat, clean and comfortable. What really made my stay were the hosts - kind, helpful, attentive, informative, welcoming and relaxed. Molly the Great Dane stole our hearts, the wall up to the walks was a real treat, and the dinner was superb. The hosts happily...

A most pleasant stay once again. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and lovely room. This family run Country House Hotel on the South side of Loch Ness is an ideal retreat. Great location and views. Whilst writing, I must say I was concerned by the review placed by the "single lady" a couple of weeks ago. Indeed I asked the owner...

We stayed one night in a superior double room with shared balcony. We were met by our hosts with a warm welcome. The room was very clean, comfortable and warm which was good as it was a cold night! We had dinner which we booked 24hours beforehand as recommended by the hostess, in order to have our freshly prepared and...

I booked this accommodation for a 2 day business trip finding it difficult to get nearer the town centre. I travelled from Glasgow and got held up with two different road accidents. I telephoned at 7.30 to notify them I was going to be late, and nobody answered my call. I carried on with my journey and struggled to get...

So quiet and peaceful. Our room wasn't big as we had requested twin beds but it was very clean and had everything we needed. After all you don't spend all day in your bedroom and there was a very nice lounge for visitors and bar facilities. Kate and David we found to be very friendly and obliging. David's cooking is...

What a dreadful place. We arrived at 5pm one evening and left within 10 minutes of coming through the front door. We were shown our "bedroom" by the very unfriendly owner - it was dreadful - small, old-fashioned and cell-like. After enquiring about dinner, we were told we couldn't eat as they have a staff shortage and were expecting a...

Just terrible and expensive. The Service is really bad and the access to the hotel is awful. We couldn't had dinner the first night at 8.20 pm, and the second night they told us that we need to book the dinner so we couldn't eat there at all!! There's nothing in Foyers but the falls...no village center, no restaurants...nothing, and...

Located in the most wonderful part around Loch Ness. Views fantastic, hotel beautiful and hosts very welcoming. Most relaxing place I have visited in a long time. Deer in the grounds, pheasants and not forgetting the red squirrels. Will be back.
