Our apartment Monastery 14 was larger and more spacious than we'd anticipated, the photos on the website don't do it justice. Beautifully decorated and furnished we found it to be extremely comfortable. Very well equipped. Including tennis racquets etc. Beautiful thick towels and robes. The pool complex is lovely and we enjoyed our swims several times during our stay. The...

My family of 4 stayed in the Alexander ( Abbey #2) for 4 nights recently. The apartment was large with 2BR, 2baths, living room, and large dining room with a small kitchen. The master BR was about 12 ft x 12ft with a king bed, dresser, and chair. A large closet was just off the BR leading into the bathroom....

Magical place full of lovely surprises. The apartment was amazing, so much character and history and quirkiness. The amenities were fabulous too, so much to do and see. The whole family loved it!! Although the Abbeybdoesnt have a restaurant, The Boathouse is a gentle walk away towards the Loch. Great service, great food, absolute monies worth.

We just got back from our trip to the Highlands and our time at the St. Benedict's Abbey was a true highlight. We had booked our week's stay at the Caladh over a year in advance, so that was plenty of time to read reviews, look at pictures and hope that our experience was a good one. We arrived in...

We spent the second week of May here. The accommodation was spacious and well-equipped. We chose it for its access to a shared pool, sauna, steam room and games room, just in case it rained. We had our daughter and her partner with us, so we did not want them to be bored. It was excellent value for money and...

We expected this place to be good but wasn't expecting it to be so amazing. The setting is perfect right on the edge of Loch Ness with very easy access to Fort Augustus. The buildings are amazing and awe inspiring our son thought it was like staying in Hogwarts. The facilities were great from the swimming pool to the large...

My wife has a knack for finding amazing places, and this was the best. A former army post, then abbey, then school, now luxury accommodations. We had far too large a space for our needs, but it was wonderful and we stayed four nights. It is a fascinating structure which has been beautifully restored, modernized, and adapted to apartments. We...

Visited the Highland Club before and keep on returning! The building is stunning and spacious - a fabulous restoration mixing the rich heritage with modern facilities. There is lots to do for adults and children - football, tennis, badminton, croquet, chess, a children's play area, swimming, table tennis, cycling, water activities and of course lots of walks and trips in...

Booked 7 nights but left after 4 , felt like an abandoned building ! No concierge or reception is this places biggest down fall . As flats all privately owned, even though I booked mine through the site, when we had problems we were told it was down to a man in London to decide if we got a refund...
