Nice place but needs some tlc. The path to the village is crumbling and badly lit, the boat house restaurant is well lets say a bit run down and could do better as is the waterfront seating. The apartments are ok . If you are looking for a pub here then you will have to go into the village and...

Got welcomed to the abbey by the management and were shown to our apartment but first of where shown the amenities. The cloisters is amazing and beautiful and makes the location feel so Harry Potterish. The club has a beautiful lounge with a snooker table, games and books and is so relaxing and the chess game in the courtyard is...

What a fabulous half term holiday we had - something for everyone - great historical building - loved it. Great for adults and families. The locks nearby are fabulous and the Loch it's on is fabulous too.

We stayed in Scriptorium 2 on the ground floor. Not large but extremely comfortable.Access to the apartment was via the medieval cloister which was redolent in history. On site caretaker was charming and efficient. A bench on the shores of Loch Ness with a chilled bottle of wine as the sun set was breathtaking.A short walk to the village and the...

Third time staying at Highland Club and this time we booked one of the courtyard cottages (Bruach). The cottage was beautifully decorated and had the bonus of a log burner in the lounge area. I was disappointed when I received an email the week before to let me know about the fire in the steam room and sauna but the...

Swimming pool now closed due to a fire in the sauna last week. We were not told of the problem until we arrived here on Saturday. Agent claimed they had emailed us but don't believe they did. Not happy at all as we would have rebooked elsewhere if we had been phoned about the lack of facilities.

Our apartment for the week was fitted out beautifully with all we could need. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The bed was extremely comfortable. The facilities in the club...
