I stayed one night at Elmbank while touring in Scotland. This is the best B&B we visited during our trip. For 50GBP, we had a good sized room with DVD player (and DVDs), a heater that really warmed the room (important when it's snowing!), internet access, a nice breakfast, and a lovely host. The rooms are in a separate small...

Elmbank was a very pleasent stop over for me on my Lands End to John O'Groats Cycle ride. Nina and Gary were excellent hosts, I was made most welcome, from the offer of a "cold beer" to a copy of "private eye" for my onward journey. I needed an early start the next day and Nina was fanatastic, not only...

Before leaving Scotland after my daughters internship of 4 months in Glasgow and Edinburgh, I insisted on showing my husband, daughter and her boyfriend Drumnadrochit. I found Elmbank B&B on the internet but could never imagine such a fantastic place: private, warm welcome, great beds, fantastic products in the bathroom, lovely breakfast, very friendly hosts, ... how positive can one...

Nina was an exceptional hostess. The granny flat where we stayed had two lovely rooms each with an ensuite bathroom; internet, TV, tea & coffee. Additionally the glass roofed conservatory served as a lovely breakfast room. The kids loved it. Parking was absolutely no problem. Nina provided printouts for our ongoing journey. What an extragavance!

We stayed at Elmpbank for three days. The location is fine, within short walking distance of shops and the village centre (and the Shinty field!). The hosts Nina and Garry were perfect, always available when needed but very discrete. The annex is independent of the house, clean and very well equipped. We would certainly return, in addition to the main...

Great location, very close to "downtown" Drumnadrochit, and Urquhart Castle yet in a quiet area. When booking the room, Nina, asked if we would like for her to reserve a table at the nice local restaurant. (Great restaurant, by the way...Loch Ness Inn--a bit pricey but good for one meal) Very fun and helpful people. It was nice to be...

My husband had business in the Loch Ness area and we found Elmbank B&B on the internet. We are so glad we did. Nina and Garry the new owners (since April 2009) made us feel so welcome and by the time we left after our weekend with them, we felt as though they were old friends. Accommodation is in their...

We stayed with the new owners Nina and Garry for two nights. They have recently renovated the place and also installed Sky TV. We stayed with our two year old. What a bespoke service we received. They were warm and welcoming and went that bit further to make our stay welcoming and restful. They were extremely generous with whatever we...

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this delightful place in September in order to attend the Beer Festival at the local hotel. It is very cosy and private being away from the main building. Breakfast was great and ample, all laid out and self service - this suited my husband who likes to burn his toast to a...

...at a place like John and Carol made me feel welcome during my by now overall three visits with them at the Elmbank B&B then you're off to a great stay.
