We booked in advance & the owner took our card details in case we didn't turn up, as apparently she has had a number of customers cancelling. We had driven down from Orkney wanting to break the journey to Cheshire and found the B & B. We had confirmed at 5.00pm on the day of arrival that we definitely would...

Lovely B & B, great tranquil location, tasty breakfast, friendly host and a large, very comfortable room. Only minor point was that the hot water ran out a couple of times but otherwise great place to stay.

Stayed here at the end of May with a group doing the Great Glen Way. This was the only disappointing stay we had during our week long trip. The host was very unfriendly with a brusque manner. The accomm was good, spacious and clean and a short walk from the village centre. The main point of contention was the breakfast...

Very attentive and friendly owner. She made us a very nice breakfast (only continental available) and provided good advices for the rest of our trip. The room was cosy and very clean. Quiet location, slightly remote, but restaurants are reachable on foot. Wifi was available in the room, even in the annex.

I stayed here recently with friends for 1 night whilst walking the Great Glen Way. The room was quite large and well appointed, and the B&B is a short walk from the centre of the village. Wifi didn't work very well - it disconnected every few minutes for no apparent reason. The host was rather unfriendly, and has probably chosen...

Despite having booked and paid for our stay several months in advance, our host greeted us diffidently, saying she had no record of our booking. Fortunately I had brought a printout of the email correspondence. She rushed off to check leaving us standing in the porch for some time. Finally she conceded she must have made a mistake and showed...

We canceled our reservation here, because the owner could not accommodate a simple request. We are walking from the west to the east coast of Scotland, and need to have a very small package of freeze dried meals shipped to this B&B so we would have food for the next five days of our walk to Braemar. After explaining to...

We stayed here two years ago and came back for 4 nights. Charlotte is so friendly, welcoming and full of advice on local places to visit. Her breakfast is delicious, all local produce and the rooms are clean. There are complimentary toiletries in the room along with biscuits, fruit and an excellent coffee machine. The house is absolutely beautiful and...

This place was wonderful. Charlotte was very nice and welcoming and very helpful with information in the area. Breakfast was very nice as well. The area is very peaceful and has stunning views. It is not far off out of the town either just a 5 minute walk if you would like to try the whiskey. We dined at Fiddlers...

We had a lovely stay at this bed and breakfast. The facilities were excellent and Charlotte couldn't do enough for us. She was extremely welcoming and helpful and provided us with lots of local information which helped in planning our weekend activities. We will certainly be staying here again!
