Galvelbeg was ok, however was disappointed in the fact the the bed was too short (I'm 6ft) and my feet hung out of the end. Quite a noisy road and you can hear everyone else in the building especially at night. But gave us £115 off the bill, so far enough.

Chris, Many thanks for your review; it is a shame that you only found Galvelbeg to be “OK”. We try very hard to provide all our guests with an excellent experience It is disappointing that you failed to mention any of your problems during your 3-night stay, to give us an opportunity to correct them. Our beds are the size...

Upon arrival Nigel was tending to the family hens, (to which I had there eggs for breakfast which were delicious) I was greeted with a friendly and welcoming manner, Nigel showed me to my room which was lovely, with homemade shortbread made by Stella, very nice they were too..... I slept well and would highly recommend and certainly stay again.

I was blown away but the courtesy shown to us during our visit on Friday evening. The room was exceptionally clean and well presented the host was very informative and friendly and the breakfast was not running about the plate in saturated fat. Well done.

We are regular visitors to Crieff from Glasgow . We used to stay in the Hydro, but now prefer to stay outside and can still use Hydro facilities. This was our first visit to Galvelbeg and won't be our last. We had a very comfortable family room at the rear for the four of us with shortbread to die for...

Many thanks for your review, good to hear that you made good use of the excellent facilities at Crieff Hydro during your stay, even if that meant reading the paper while the children went on the segways! Totally agree with you about Yann's we are so lucky to have such a quality restaurant on our doorstep. Hope to see you...

We arrived back in Canada a few days ago after five excellent weeks in Scotland. We stayed in a variety of accommodations, including University residences, manor houses and B&Bs. Our favourite place was the Galvelbeg B&B in Crieff. We know the kinds of touches that make a stay special for us and this one ticked all the right boxes: warm...

Many thanks for your glowing review, so pleased that we "Ticked all the right boxes" for you! To know that we were your favourite place during your stay in Scotland, even competing with manor houses has really brightened up our day! Lesley was really pleased that she got a mention as she was helping with breakfasts, on the Saturday, as...

We have stayed at Galvebeg House on several occasions as we visit a relative in Crieff on a regular basis. We are always disappointed when we cannot get a room here, as we have not felt quite so comfortable in other local B&Bs. Nigel and Stella are always welcoming and friendly, the house is always immaculately clean, and the breakfast...

Dave & Denise, Thank you for your great review, one of the best compliments we can get is when guests return time after time, however but by also taking the time to post a review it is very special. Although we welcome all our guests it is nice for us to see familiar faces coming to the front door :)...

We felt really welcome at Galvelbeg House by Nigel and Stella and their dogs. A perfectly run B&B in Crieff with all the amenities you could ask for. The room was comfortable and clean. I wouldn´t hesitate to stay there again if I was in the area. We got great eating suggestion just across the road at Yanns.

Many thanks for your great review, good to hear you enjoyed your welcome from Murphy & Bailey!! We are really lucky to have Yann's just across the road and thank you for posting a review for them as well! Unfortunately like many Victorian houses that have been converted to B&B's we aren't accessible for disabled with all our bedrooms upstairs...

Had the pleasure of staying here recently, wonderful couple, Nigel and Stella made us very welcome, the rooms are very comfortable and have everything you might need, the little touches like the home baking in the room was well received and the full Perthshire breakfast would beat most 5 star hotels around the world, they also provide there guests maps...
