Fantastic place to stay! Loved the kata we stayed in, which was super cosy with the wood burning stove. Everything supplied (except the food!) to be able to make a great meal. They even welcomed the dog!! Bed was comfy enough. All the staff were...More

Hi Siobhan!
Great to hear you, your partner and your dog had a fab stay. We Crofters love staying in the Kata's in the winter, nothing better than cosying up with a book and the fire on after a great days mountain biking.
Look forward...More
Stayed in a Kata for two nights, great experience. Katas are well equipped, and cosy with a wood burning stove. Each Kata has a outhouse which is nice and clean. Scenery is beautiful, kids loved the mountain biking and grass sledging. Although there is no...More

We stayed overnight between Christmas and new year, escaping to recover from all the festivities with books, cheese, crackers and wine. Although the weather was freezing, once we got the stove on, it was toasty and warm inside. There is everything you can need for...More

Great to hear you and your dog enjoyed staying in a Kata!
They're fab in the winter, with the stove on, a good book and a wee glass of wine, it's the perfect hide away. Even better when it snows too!
Hopefully you'll come back...More

Im afraid im not sure about the price for tents, have you had a look on their website? I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call, all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. But I would definitely recommend a 10 minute drive to the Royal Comrie Hotel for food. There's nothing much at all around, and Comrie is the closest place. Its not ideal for walking as there are no pavements most of the way. Me and my partner had one of the best meals we've had there, and its a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Hope this helps!
