We stayed for six nights at this lovely hotel. Rooms immaculately clean, and food was excellent, both in the restaurant and the bar. Staff were extremely helpful. The most amazing views across the lochs over to the Standing Stones and Brodgar. Lovely big screen TV in lounge, but perhaps the budget might stretch to a couple of new sofas.

At a glance the room seemed overpriced, but it made up in the sheer size of our room, the great location, and free breakfast. Other places we'd stayed were the same price or more and lacked all three of these things. My wife, daughter, and I stayed here for one night and it was a great place to relax and...

A cosy and friendly pub restaurant. Good selection monogamy brewed beers, and locally sourced food. When I ordered the langoustines, and clearly looked like I had no idea how to go about eating them, the waitress and another guest helped me out with good humour and great understanding! Local ice cream, local beers, tasty menu. Would certainly eat here again!

My husband and I recently stayed here for 5 nights. We were in a suite, on the top floor, with a balcony. The view was amazing! We were treated to beautiful sunsets! The front desk staff were exceptional and went out of their way to be helpful. The food in the restaurant was quite good; breakfast particularly so. But the...

We'd been to the neighbouring Stones and wanted somewhere for lunch. Our reception by the staff was very warm. The menu was very good, the food was served fresh and the service was excellent. We were so impressed we arranged to go to the hotel for breakfast on the morning of our departure and we were not disappointed - again...

A good , well presented meal , rare steak was rare, beer batter on fish was light and crispy and the Orkney ice cream was delicious. Don't come here if you are looking for glamour but they do a good job and we paid much more for much less elsewhere

Was take out for a High Tea so felt couldn't make complaints at the time but food was truly poor, Mixed Grill was cold and no more than a basic breakfast with chips which were only half cooked. Roast Chicken didn't even have a full slice was more crumbs in gravy. Cakes looked like they had been sitting out uncovered...

Have eaten here twice before but not sure how many reviews I've done. Three of us went in for an early dinner tonight. Ate in the bar - was pretty quiet - was only 5pm on a wet Thursday in early June! Two had haddock and chips. Haddock was good - done in breadcrumbs and served with frozen chips. One...
