We live quite local and i use the hotel for customers and lunches so decided to try for myself. My wife had only eaten here once. We arrived and were immediately looked after tremendously well. This was to last the whole period of our stay. Te double room that we had was very modern and fitted out lovely. (i would...

Checked in for one night on business in July. The hotel's circa half way between Edinburgh & Glasgow, just off the motorway (no noise though) so not for you if you fancy an evening walk to the local pub or restaurant. My immediate reaction was ... who's turned all of the lights off? I totally get that the owners are...

Fantastic hotel, nothing to much bother. Food, expensive however you do get what you pay for and the steaks are exceptional ,probably the best fillet I have ever had. Do have it !!!!! All round a great stay, would definitely stay again, only criticism is the strange lighting arrangements going on, must be a Scottish thing lol.

The hotel decor is quirky and when I took my godson he described it as 'scooby doo's hotel' as it has lots of dark opulent corners, which I would describe as opulent. Check in was fast: the room is a reasonable size with air con, wifi, large tv, shower area. Water bottles are provided, which are replenished daily, limited range...

Booked in late on the way back down south. Stayed here several times on business a few years ago and it is still up to standard. Welcoming staff, comfortable rooms with all the usual amenities and excellent free wifi. Convenient location just off the M8 and decent food offerings. And you get free cookies!

I booked to stay at the Dakota for three days for an event at Strathclyde Country Park with my 16 year old son I have to say that from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left we were treated to the most friendly environment we have had in a hotel. The staff on reception were...

As always with Dakota Glasgow the room was perfect the food was lovely and the staff were fantastic. Jennifer on the front desk was a delight to deal with and truly made our stay perfect. Really comfy room and lovely lighting and gorgeous shower room. Looking forward to staying again.
