After a brilliant previous visit pre Covid-19 we enjoyed our return to the hotel for the first day of three despite no air conditioning ( fixed the next morning and fan supplied) The reception and restaurant staff are awesome a true asset and ambassadors for the company from start to finish Breakfast is exceptional and staff attentive Unfortunately day two took a little negative turn after a long day at the fringe we returned to only one towel and after two phone calls and a visit in person to reception spanning 90 minutes we were able to take a much needed shower to wash off the city grime. On night three we returned from a day out and we’re greeted by no towels or shower mat? Reception rectified this on our return but it really has taken the shine off our stay unfortunately
Favourite hotel never disappoints, lovely staff, good food. great atmosphere. checking out was lovely as the girl on duty was lovely. Me and my husband go away to relax and this hotel is perfect for us and an ideal location just off the M8 motorway, easy parking, lots of shopping not far if thats what your looking to do.
Stayed here for a second night at this expensive , supposedly 4 star hotel that had noisy music with heavy bass being played by the hotel in reception late at night. I was on the first floor above this area and despite phoning down to reception they did nothing and in fact the receptionist couldn't in fact hear me on the call as it was so noisy with the music and drunk guests milling about. I had driven from London to Inverness and was driving back the following morning but checked out at midnight as there was no chance of getting any rest. Dakota please contact me for a full refund.
Room was better than photos. Quality of everything was extremely good. Very comfortable bed and bed linen of very good quality. Bathroom again all top quality and shower amazing. This is worthy of more than four stars.
Second breakfast meeting yesterday. I was there last month and emailed twice to compliment the staff. Yesterday when I asked the same member of staff if they had been recognised they said no! This is very disappointing. People are too quick to complain, so when someone sends in good feedback this should be passed to staff
Have been using the Tesla chargers at the Dakota for a few years. I was therefore very surprised to receive a parking fine of £100 on my most recent visit. The Dakota have introduced am automatic parking charge system. The signage is very small and this is not easily clear, especially to regular users who have been there in the past. I suppose that the Dakota may have had issues with people parking in their car park to use Eurocentral offices etc. However, that would be a charitable view. I suspect its more likely to be a cynical and disingenious way of making money from unsuspecting tesla drivers. Well done Dakota, I won't be staying in your hotels anymore.
Couldn’t recommend this hotel more. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel as a whole is done up to a fine standard. The room itself is very clean. Beds very comfy. Easy check in/out process. Will definitely be back. 10/10
Lovely night away with my daughter, upgraded on arrival , tasty dinner and cocktails and a filling breakfast in the morning, Dakota staff go above and beyond, second stay here and we will return soon hopefully in the near future. Home from home feeling
My partner booked a very last minute stay and meal for our anniversary. We have stayed in this hotel many times and each time we stay the hotel only gets better and better, making it our favourite place to be. This is due to a few things, rooms are not the largest but always immaculately clean and presented well, food and drinks are delicious but for me it's the staff! A massive well done to the recruitment team because they've done a superb job. Big thank you to Louise on the reception who organised little anniversary surprises for us, i can understand why louise not only works for your hotel but is the first person to greet us as we arrived, she is such a lovely girl who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great evening. Also the girls in the bar/reception, sorry cant remember all their names, had one to many cosmopolitan by then!! Overall you would find it hard to fault this hotel and i'm looking forward to seeing you all again Joanne & Bryan x…
Great stay as always. Fantastic hotel. Rooms are immaculate the food is excellent & the staff cannot do enough with you. I stay in a regular basis & cannot fault the very high standards of the Dakota in every aspect. Would definitely highly recommend.
