Welcoming, helpful, staff. Clean spacious modern rooms. An excellent small bar and restaurant where I had a delicious, freshly-cooked meal. The rooms on the third floor where I stayed involve quite a climb. The water pressure in room 303 was too low to give a good shower. Despite these minor misgivings, I would definitely stay here again. It offers unbeatable value for accommodation and meals A good, hearty breakfast is included in the overnight charge.

Stayed one night to break a trip up to Skye . Twin Room was large beds comfortable with seating area , but I felt that the curtains hadn’t been replaced , room was very light from early am , only thin blinds which meant sleeping was difficult beyond about 4,30 am. The sink toilet area of the bathroom was clean , as probably was the shower, but I didn’t use it , the out dated tiles and poor grouting , poor paint , let the room down. Breakfast was fab, no issue there , and staff all friendly welcoming. Price paid was in range for other hotels , and was fine for a night .

For the price being so low I imagined I might be in for a poor nights sleep, however what you get at this hotel exceeds expectations. Can’t fault it. Nice wee hotel to rest while on business.

Parking at the hotel is very handy and staff were very welcoming.

This is a great hotel and very good value for money. Our room was nice and big, with a seating area. We are vegan and the lovely woman who checked us in told us everything that we could have for breakfast and even offered to go out and buy additional vegan items for us, which was amazing! I would definately stop again.

Where to start. Before I start please note we are most definitely NOT fussy eaters and have never complained about any meals before, in fact I'm the first to make sure that I give positive reviews where appropriate as people are too quick to only write negative reviews.
Here goes....
£60 per person Xmas Day Meal, 5 of us.
No reflection on the staff as having worked in hospitality for 20+ years I know the staff get the brunt of it when it isn't necessarily their fault.

No turkey left (?) "Steak Au Poivre" turned out to be leathery roast beef which we couldnt eat, "Selection of Cheeses" was 2 cheeses with dry oatcakes (no butter given), no draught lager, no offer of a refund or discount but we did get given a bottle of cheap prosecco to take home.
My Mum saved for a while to pay for this as her Xmas present to us and tbh it kind of ruined Christmas. Without exaggerating, Wetherspoons would have been 10x better.
One positive was the young lad behind the bar who was brilliant and couldn't be more apologetic, other staff seemed fairly uninterested.
In all, this cost £300 and wasn't worth £30.
Absolute shambles from start to finish, avoid at all costs!

Stayed here for two nights on B&B. Room was clean and tidy with plenty of space. Nice touch of bottled water and a chocolate treat for us both on the side too. Breakfast both mornings was really nice and fresh. Staff in the restaurant were lovely and polite. The only complaint we did have was with whoever was staying in the room above as they were very noisy, stomping and banging around but I suppose not everyone is respectful and walks around quietly do they?! We would stay here again as it was reasonably priced and the location is great for walking to the station or into town.

I work for a homeless unit in Wishaw and I phoned The Bentley Hotel to enquire if it would be possible if they could donate 5 meals on Christmas Day for our service users and without any hesitation they said yes no problem. I picked them up on Christmas Day and they were delicious. They were so generous and our ladies really enjoyed and appreciated the gesture. Thankyou Bentley Hotel for your kindness. Merry Christmas to you all 🎄⛄🎄

Just messaging to say my mum came here Thursday for lunch she holds a grievance class for Cancer and her and about 5 of them came along, firstly waited 30mins for starters it was disgusting the rice was freezing inside the peppers they got took away and came back out and they got sent to the wrong people my mum got someone's pepper with bite out it, the main meal wasn't even better took about 30 mins again then the dessert came out was frozen, my mum and few of them have been feeling poorly and unwell.
I can just say one thing the young guy that was the waiter was so nice and charming but the other staff were so ignorant, they would not smile.
they used to come here with family but certainly won't be back near the place and we have told friends and family was disgusting.

Stayed here for one night, Good location, close to the train station – Ideal for transport into Glasgow and surrounding Lanarkshire area. Bedroom on the top floor of the hotel was basic, but warm and clean. Water pressure in the bathroom was weak which meant the shower had to run a while before the water got hot. Staff friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast supplied, but untried as the breakfast times were 7.00 – 8.45 which was too early for us!

I have stayed here before and it has been adequate. However they have now decided not to provide a cooked breakfast just continental (which is basically cereal juice pastries and toast). Gone is the porridge and cooked breakfast! The rooms are ok but tired and some very small. Will I be returning? No.
