Opening in March 2018! Come to The Raven’s Cliff in Motherwell a child friendly pub with right décor, a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. We’ve got a cracking outdoor play area and a menu full of teatime favourites for the mini monsters. For the adults, there’s a great selection of cask ales, wines, and spirits. Pop in midweek for burger night or curry night. Get all the family together and catch up properly over drinks and pub classics. Ring the changes with something different from our specials board. Food is available all day and you can book but you don’t have to. We’re waiting to welcome you!

Great place, great staff, lovely people, comfy bed and really nice pub close to the hotel. I had a great time at Raven’s cliff Lodge and enjoyed my stay there. Besides, there is beautiful spots to visit in the area as Carfin grotto. Thank you so much for the

Great place to stay close to family, comfy beds and clean and spacious room. Pub right next to it with classic pub food available, the menu is great and there’s different deal through out the week, smaller sizes as well for lunch. Big beer garden, dog friendly inside and outside of pub, not the hotel thought which is a shame but not a big deal.

We had to stay in the area 3 weeks while a relative was in Wishaw Hospital after an accident. If it hadn't been for the Raven's Cliff and its wonderful staff, the stay would have been far more difficult. It is clean, comfortable and the only place for miles around where you can get a decent pub meal, and eat outside (good in Covid times). There's a little playground for kids and a huge top quality play area across the road at the sports centre. It's situated in a massive brown field site where the Ravenscraig steel works was. It's yet to be developed but there are regenerated areas. In particular there is a hill to walk up which had woods, wild flowers, birds. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and nothing seems to be too much trouble. Otherwise, the area is rather lacking in amenities.

We stayed overnight in the Ravens Cliff Inn. We had an excellent experience from start to finish. Check in was easy and the staff were very helpful, the room was very clean, quiet & spacious, everything we needed after a long drive. We went for dinner in the pub and the food (vegetarian) was excellent, with lovely evening sun in the garden. Thank you to everyone at the Ravens Cliff, we will definitely be staying again!

We had a fantastic overnight stay recently. The room was very clean and well presented. It was a family room with a king size bed and 2 single beds. We ate in the pub and the food was absolutely fine. It was busy but the staff appeared to take this in their stride and were very friendly and attentive. The duty manager in particular (I didn’t get his name) was helpful, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. He dealt with our check-in, food service in the pub, and breakfast the following day. There’s not much to see or do in the direct vicinity of the Ravens Cliff, but for us it was a perfect location for an early start at a dance competition the following day. We booked quite far in advance so we got a great room rate. We’ll definitely be back! 👍

I am currently in the allocated room at 12.09am and without hot water and being ignored after raising the hot water issue. The porter is trying to contact the manager who is not responding to communications. Informed by the porter there is no hot water in other rooms? The Porter can offer no resolution. Why is the Manager not contactable. I expect the chairman or CEO to seek answers and perhaps locate the manager. Where is the corporate representative to promote this brand and resolve this matter. I'm being ignored and still await some sort of communication and resolution. I'm due to be at business very early in the morning...

This is our 2nd year coming for Christmas Dinner and overnight stay. I cannot speak highly enough about the food, the atmosphere, and most of all the staff with their cheeriness, helpfulness and amazing attitude towards their work and effort made to make sure their guests are well looked after. Rooms are clean cosy and comfortable too. We had boxing day breakfast also and it was delicious and piping hot too, great value for money. We come here through the year for random overnights and dinners and at Christmas because we know we are always guaranteed a fantastic meal and stay and will be well looked after by an amazing team

Our server was Gail and she was fantastic! Very friendly, very attentive & good fun, without being intrusive. Cannot recommend her enough! Like a lot of people, we couldn't be together last year, and Gail has helped make this year all the more special.

OK will review only the hotel in this review. After an initial wobble (the key card refused to work on the bedroom door having been reprogrammed 3 times) the management moved us to a different room so they could have the electronic lock repaired. The rooms are spacious , every socket has 2 USB ports for easy charging of electronic items. The bathroom was spacious and clean . The beds are comfy and I found noise levels well below what I have heard in some hotels. All in all a well run , clean hotel. Staff very attentive and actively care about those staying here. Having read a couple of negative reviews I couldn't find any of the issues they raised . A stay here won't leave you disappointed. Great value for money .
