As this was the hotel allocated for a coach tour, was not sure about the stay. Well this is a lovely hotel to stay. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, but the gem is the staff at breakfast and Dinner which are lovely and make your stay. Food is very good for the price we paid, always hot and good...

Like a thoroughly enjoyable step back in time, this place reminds me of the seaside bars / restaurants / hotels I was taken to on family holidays, as a child. The food is good, the staff are friendly, the entertainment's great and the prices are reasonable. An excellent trip down memory lane - especially for those who remember the west...

We were hear on a coach trip to the Tattoo. The staff are all very nice and the hotel was clean. But for us like a lot of UK hotels coach tours use it was very dated and in need of a revamp. Room clean but small, comfortable bed but again small, it did have free wifi so that was...

The staff at willowbank were absolutely charming nothing was too much for them, we were made very welcome. Having said that the hotel itself was certainly not 4 star as stated I think it would struggle to make 2 star. The room was spacious and clean, the shower was not working, it was either freezing cold or boiling hot. Breakfast...

Overal a pleasant place to stay, I had a double room with en-suite facilities, but was rather let down a bit by the dust on the wardrobe and other surfaces. The quality of the food was at best fair. Locally there are quite a few shops around the town about 15-20 minute walk away, but not much in the wy...

We stayed here for three nights early August. It may not be 5* but it more than makes up for this with terrific staff (especially Maitre'd Paul who is a hoot), pretty good food, comfortable if basic rooms, lovely shower, tiny telly, very comfy bed. Plenty of parking space. A short picturesque walk along the seafront brings you to Largs...

Stayed Fri - Mon. Staff were fantastic, always smiling and helpful. Decor is very seventies but very clean and tidy. Food was simple fare, well cooked, hot and pleasantly served. Overall, good value for money. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quiet stay and good value. If you want 4 stars you will pay a lot more.
