Went for a meal with friends. The bar and dining room are so old and tired they are a joke. The furniture is old worn out and uncomfortable..Service was reasonable. Ordered fish. 10 minutes after my friends had been served the waitress announced that they had lost my order and were working to bring me my fish. Five minutes later...

Stayed here for a night with 5 friends at Halloween. Hotel is 5 minutes from Largs train station which was great. The rooms were spacious with en suite and a lovely sea view. They were also nice and warm and clean. The staff were lovely. Also included was breakfast, a full scottish which was delicious. Free wifi also and parking...

Dropped in here at 4.00pm on Saturday 8th October and got a delightful sea view room with breakfast fot £90. Great value, great location and the hotel carries out all its duties efficiently. Bar prices are very good and the whole experience was very positive. We shall return.

We stayed here for a weekend break and would recommend it to anyone thinking about visiting Largs. The hotel is located on the front and we had a nice view from our bedroom window. We stayed on a b&b basis and the breakfasts were delicous. The location is really good being right on the front but not too near to...

Found this hotel for a quick weekend away. Obviously under new management (although the owners are the same) restoration is well underway, we had a restored bedroom (3) and couldn't fault it and terrific sea views. New carpets are in and new double glazing going in whilst we were there. Evening meal menu was eclectic, well balanced and well cooked...

The hotel is a little tired and in need of a little TLC. But the room was clean with a tv, hairdryer and coffee making facilities. The bed comfy and I had I great nights sleep. Breakfast was nice myself and my son had a full Scottish breakfast very tasty. At £80 a night the price maybe a little high...

To be honest there appeared to be some painting going on - this from the looks of the paint tins in the dining room. The whole place needs a pike if cash spending on it and so I only hope my meagre 2 night stop helped a little. The entrance was grubby and you needed to pass by filthy smelly...

Stayed at the Queens hotel for two nights. We got the last room which was a family room at £90.00 per night with breakfast. The room at the top of the hotel had a lovely view towards the island of Gt Cumbrae and a separate bathroom across the landing. Both the room and the bathroom are in need of upgrading...
