very clean - very friendly couple - excellent breakfasts - amazing views ... General info re: the Island, road surfaces are pretty poor - all of the (3) Service Statioins selling petrol CLOSE @ 6pm + the only fish & chip shop by Brodick Pier is excellent but closes @ 7pm - Fantastic views all over - recommend Historical Museum...

Just back from a 3 night stay here, opted for an upstairs ensuite which had a great view. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast selection was excellent - cereals, muesli, jams and fruit, which you can choose from before ordering your cooked breakfast. Very interesting golf and music memorabilia in the dining area as well. Can't...

Due to my close locality to the beautiful Isle of Arran, which I see every morning, I frequently visit the island for a couple of days as often as possible. I have stayed in many guest houses around the island and there are a lot of very good ones but I have no hesitation in stating that Viewbank Guest House...

Just what one would want from a B and B, pleasant hosts, comfy bed, good location and excellent breakfast. We did not have a sea view but that did not detract from the stay in any way, in fact in the early morning the sea view was quite blinding with the sun rise. A walk back from the town up...

A fabulous B&B in Whiting Bay, Arran, with lovely clean/comfortable rooms. Owners Julie and Mal were very helpful, friendly and hospitable. The breakfasts are amazing with delicious porridge made the true Scottish way. Would definitely stay again and recommend Viewbank to anyone visiting Arran.

We have been in Scotland for over 5 years and must have visited close to 20 B&Bs during our various holidays across the country. It always amazes us with the high standards B&Bs in Scotland maintain. Our visit to Arran was planned quite suddenly and as one would expect it was a struggle to find accommodation. Luckily we found rooms...

Thank you for taking the time to right a review about Viewbank House. We were very disappointed you appear to have had some issues with the rooms. As you say we let the 2 rooms at a significantly reduced rate for your comfort and convenience having the young child which has proved more than adequate for previous guests visiting us....

Three night stay in good accommodation and a great breakfast. The hosts Malcolm and Julie were most accommodating as we had a cancelled ferry. They let us arrive early so we could get some sleep. By the way if you like Eric Clapton there is a surprise or two to be had, I will let you find out for yourself...
