I stayed for a couple of nights in May with my grown-up sons - me in a double room, because I was paying, and them sharing a twin, because they weren't. Colin and June were smashing hosts, very friendly and full of local knowledge. We were able to store our bikes in the shed, which is always a bonus. Breakfast was delicious - and the location in Lamlash is just amazing. Will return here for sure.

Beautiful location with stunning views. The guest house itself is clean and well equipped, with clear COVID guide lines. The breakfast was great, and the hosts could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Several local restaurants and pubs within a short walk.

My husband Paul & I have a wonderful time on Arran, & we stayed at Lilybank in Lamlash. Colin & June were lovely, looked after us so well. Everything was so clean & neat, we had everything we needed, and the breakfasts were lovely, particularly the kippers! The view from Lilybank is one of the most beautiful on the island, and we were fortunate to have lovely weather. We would highly recommend Lilybank, and would love to go back!

The Lilybank Guest House is located in the lovely village of Lamlash, on the Isle of Arran. Lamlash is an excellent base for exploring the island, as it is less than a ten minute drive to the main town Broddick, and the ferry terminal. There are stunning views across the bay to Holy Isle, and the village itself is well appointed with a number of pubs, shops, and a small grocery store.

The guest house is located in the centre of Lamlash, directly across from the water, and has private (but very tight!) parking to the rear of the building. Colin offered a very warm welcome, with a helpful tour of the building and overview of amenities. The property has a charming sitting room, as well as a bright sun porch containing a good supply of maps and local information. Colin and June also have a friendly dog and sleepy cat to add to the homely feel. The room itself was surprisingly spacious and well-appointed, and was immaculately clean. The shower-room was also spotless, and offered fancy complimentary soaps from Arran Aromatics, a local company. We spent a delightful and comfortable night there. The one time I woke up during the middle of the night, I noticed that there was complete and utter silence, which was very welcome to this city dweller!

Breakfast was delicious, and my husband and I both enjoyed smoked salmon scrambled eggs, fresh fruit salad, and plenty of good coffee. We left feeling relaxed and well-rested for our exploration of the island.

Colin & June know how to run a B&B. The small house in Lamlash overlooking Holy Island is spotless and fresh. We were met by Colin who made us most welcome and showed us around the house and gave us plenty in useful local information. Our room, facing the bay, was very spacious and comfortable. June's breakfasts had lots of choices and were delicious.
Another bonus to staying at the Lilybank is that it is next door to the GlenIsle Hotel which has a lovely bar and serves wonderful meals.
We had the best of both worlds, a great B&B with stunning views and good breakfast while the GlenIsle gave us the chance to enjoy an evening meal.

I am just back from a lovely break with my sister. We stayed here for 2 nights and can't recommend it highly enough.

Colin and June the owners are lovely people who made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped foot into the building. The rooms are immaculate and breakfast is wonderful.

We had a great view from our room onto the Holy Isle, the rooms had a tv, coffee making facilities, fresh linen daily and a welcome folder with lots of helpful info about the island.

There a parking spaces behind the building. Extra touches included a guest fridge that you could use, there was milk available to take to your room and a guest sitting area.

The area itself is beautiful and I think we were lucky staying here compared to some of the other areas we visited.

I would highly recommend this B&B.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my Nana. Usually a hard woman to please but even she couldn't fault Lilybank. Such a welcoming and friendly couple, comfortable and homely b&b with lots of added little touches that just made relaxing all that more easy. Stunning views of the Holy Isle and central enough to travel easily enough around the Island. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The fridge for guests was a bonus and the little touch of providing fresh milk for guests got a big thumbs up from my Nana who is partial to a cuppa or two! Thank you SO much for everything we will definately be back.

Lilybank is a lovely b&b right on shore front at Lamlash, Colin and Julie are a very friendly couple who make guests feel welcome and that nothing is too much trouble. Top end of scale for clean rooms with everything you could need and some nice wee touches - toileteries, convector heater in bedroom, free wifi, drying room for clothes. Big comfy sitting room with wee bar area and fridge is a real bonus, kept wine from nearby coop on chill during stay!

The breakfasts were substantial, tasty and well cooked. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The owners, Colin and June Richardson were knowledgeable about the local area and freely shared that information. Colin went above and beyond the duties of a proprietor to repair some scratches on my car.
