Ivybank was a very welcoming, cosy and comfortable house to stay in. Our room was a little cramped but Sherie and Andrew kindly let us use another room to store our cases and were very relaxed and friendly hosts, even letting us use their large and comfy sitting room to relax in. Breakfast was good and the location on the seafront in the pretty village of Lamlash couldn’t have been better. A beautiful view and lovely waking along the bay, with some good places to eat a few minutes walk away. We had two great days walking, both North and South of the island, spotting wonderful Springtime wildlife. Thankyou, Sherie and Andrew.

We have just had a wonderful stay at Ivybank which is ideally located in the centre of the village near to all 3 pubs. My partner and I had a lovely ensuite room with a very special view over the bay. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful and were conscientious with Covid precautions. Breakfast was great, setting us up for the day. Highly recommend.

Woohoo, what an absolute joy to meet the Fantastic Sherie and The Fabulous Andy, thanks so much for making us very welcome. I knew you two had a lot of potential when we met and what an interesting life you have both had and are having!!
Sherie it was a privilege to read about your Extraordinary Father and we loved your sense of humour you are both were very entertaining!!
The location is excellent , we climbed Goatfell and were really impressed with the whole island.
Thanks for letting me use your treasured egg cup too,the boiled eggs were perfect and so was the porridge made with milk!!!
See you next time and Take it Easy!!!
The Isle of Arran is a better place because you two are on it!!

Room Tip: The shared bathroom was fab, with a great big stand alone bath tub and a separate shower.

What a great place to stay for a holiday on Arran. Sherie and Andrew were fabulous hosts for our 4 nights B&B in Lamlash. My son and I shared a twin room with ensuite bathroom. The shower was so good and the beds very comfortable. We both really enjoyed our "big breakfast" every morning served in a wonderful dining room overlooking Lamlash Bay. We were made very welcome and invited to view their amazing back garden with stunning views of the Bay from the Log Cabin at the top. Loved the way they left the front door light on for our late returns after a full day out on this beautiful island. Would strongly recommend staying at Ivybank.

I stayed with my partner at Ivybank in one of the guest rooms for three days. Sherie and Andrew are very friendly and welcomed us into the house like a guest in their home. The room is very comfortable and clean and they made a lovely cooked breakfast each day. The Ivybank is really well located too in Lamlash, just on the waterfront with lovely views of Holy Isle from our bedroom window.

Just had a couple of nights with Cherie and Andrew, what a lovely couple very friendly and helpful. The place was home from home as we were able to relax in their own private lounge.
Room overlooking the water was great. We didn't have the en suite room but the bathroom was close and not an issue for us it was a super size bathroom. (We had been warned it wasn't en suite when we booked)
Excellent location in Lamlash ,walking distance to a variety of eating places.

Just back from a week's stay in the cottage attached to the Ivybank b&b. Had everything we needed for the three of us and our little dog. The cottage is in a great spot right in the middle of the village. A couple of minutes to the co-op, and even handier for the PHT, where we had a really good Sunday lunch. It's dog friendly in there too.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating, and our daughter loved the chickens in the back garden

Came to Arran and fell in love with the island, its wildlife, its scenery and its variety. The accommodation was excellent with a view over Lamlash Bay to wake up to every morning. Our ensuite double room was well equipped with small wardrobe, chest of drawers and chairs. Wifi is available. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided. Breakfast was cooked to order, the eggs provided by the hens in the back garden. Hosts, Shere and Andrew were able to tell us about places to go and suggest restaurants and pubs to eat in, all of which served good food. Andrew provided us with a walking guide and suggestions for alternative routes when we mentioned a walk to the waterfall. We were welcomed as guests but regarded as invited visitors in a family home, a truly lovely place to stay.
