Was staying alone in the hotel for 2 nights but there was only availability for 1 night in a single room and booked the 2nd night in a 'cosy double'. They put me up for both nights in the cosy double at no extra charge. The room I ended up with was just right. The single room actually is very...

We stay at the Glenisle every year for our Anniversary. It’s a treat that we always look forward to: The rooms are cosy, spotless and well-furnished; the location is perfect, looking over Holy Isle; the food is excellent and the staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. One of the nicest things about staying here is the cosy residents’ lounge, where...

This is an excellent hotel in both location and amenities. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and slept well. My only issue is that the quality of food is not at the same level as the quality of the hotel.

I had a lovely 3 night stay here in April. I was in a cosy, spotless and comfortable single room on the top floor. 'Cosy' was important as the weather was sunny but bitterly cold and the hotel was beautifully warm. The staff are both friendly and efficient. I had dinner here on two nights. The food is well presented,...

We spent a night in the Glenisle in April staying DB&B in the large room on the top floor with views across the bay. The staff were welcoming and the room was clean and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. We had a pre-dinner drink in the comfortable bar area and a pleasant 3 course dinner. The one area...

We spent two nights at Glenisle recently. It was an excellent experience. The room was lovely, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the food was very good indeed. The location is fabulous with great sea views and it is only 10 minutes drive from the Ardrossan ferry. If we return to Arran it will certainly be our first...

Really enjoyed our stay here. In Lamlash which has a couple of pubs and a lovely view of holy isle. A few minutes drive from the ferry with buses passing regularly. The hotel and staff are lovely. The staff were very friendly and couldn't have done any more to help. There's a good choice for breakfast and the restaurant is...

I came over with friends for the first time in thirty years and we decided to drop by this beautiful hotel to have a spot of tea and a meal for lunch. To be greeted and catered by this young man who had tattoos all the way up his arm. My friends and I were never a fan of the...

My partner and I took advantage of the late deals offered by the hotel and enjoyed a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location is great with views of the bay. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the homely feel of the place. We ate in the bistro and had a fabulous 2 course dinner. Breakfast was also...
