We ate here three times, asked to be in the bar with the dog each time but were firstly in the restaurant, then in the billiard room and, third time lucky, in the bar. Staff seemed to be different every night but all were cheerful and food was good.

Had a pleasant pint in the beer garden of the Corrie Hotel during a recent stay in the village, but felt that issues of responsible dog ownership are at play here. I love dogs and, in my opinion, Lottie is an absolutely lovely one. However, not everyone is a dog lover and the habit of her owner Tony (who, from...

Visited last week and really impressed with what the new owners are trying to achieve and I am sure it will be fabulous in time. The new bar is opening this weekend and it looks wonderful. With the Sannox Hotel closing The Corrie Hotel is a much needed facility for locals as well as tourists. We are all hoping that...

Friendly owners and staff and wonderful service. Most excellent food. Lovely breakfast - perfect scrambled eggs. Lovely atmosphere and rooms. Excellent bathroom and power shower. Fabulous views. Idyllic location. Spacious ground floor lounges and dining room. A very dog-friendly hotel; yet, as non-dog owners, we were not put out by any dogs or their owners. Nothing to dislike. We would...

Late review - we arrived last year doing a tour of the islands. The staff we very good and welcoming and knowledgeable about the Island. They helped us store the bikes securely. The room was clean and had an awesome view. The barman poured us a well deserved beer and we drank it in a beer garden that had the...

Myself and 3 friends booked here for 1 night over the weekend to climb Goatfell. What can I say?? The staff are absolutely lovely and so attentive. Location wise it is perfect, the Beer Garden is directly on the coast and a decent size for a large crowd! We ended up having our evening meal in the pub area and...

Cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Evening meal was delicious (I had the fish and chips) and the morning breakfast sets you up for the whole day. Staff were very friendly and views from the hotel were just wonderful. First time staying at the hotel but it won't be my last.

I have stayed here a couple of times and would not go anywhere else. Excellent family run hotel with approachable staff always willing to go out of their way for you. Nothing is too much for Anne and Danny. Everyone is so friendly. Rooms are comfy, newly refurbished and you feel at home. Food is amazing, from your full Scottish...

This was our second time at the Corrie - we loved the atmosphere of the place first time round. It's in an idyllic spot, just over the road from the sea, it's clean and comfortable, and very relaxed. It's not a Best Western, so a uniform would be a bit ridiculous (commenting on the last review!) But that's part of...
