Staying in Scotland we don't always make use of what's on our door step. An overnight at Auchrannie made us want more. The grounds are really beautiful and the hotel itself is lovely. We made use of the spa and each of us (party of 4 females) had different treatments. The stay was expensive but the treatments were reasonably priced....

Stayed for three days over half term. Just a great stay. Tge lodge was indeed rrally stylish with lots of space and locely toileteries and tea and coffee and fresh milk in the fully set up kitchen. Luving area huge as was the telly. Bedrooms had wonderful big fluffy duvets. One quibble a yiny whiff if damp in the family...

First visit to the Resort and found it very relaxing. Although I didn't use the Spa facilities I paid a visit to check them out and found them excellent. The resort is very family friendly and also welcomes dogs. It caters for all ages and I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean and...

Decided to book Auchrannie to stay at during October School break. It had been a long time since I'd been to Arran, & my husband & 10 year old son had never been before. On arrival in Arran we were picked up by the Auchrannie mini bus at the ferry terminal, which I had pre-arranged. This is a great service...

We stayed for five nights in one of the two bed lodges. The lodge was very clean and comfortable, and allowed plenty of space for our boys to run around and play when we wanted to put our feet up for a while. The big disappointment, as mentioned by another reviewer, is that despite an eye watering £1600 for five...

Firstly, the setting is incredible - the view from the restaurant up the wooded valley was amazing. The hotel itself is probably the best on Arran in terms of the facilities on offer, including two pools and the spa plus much more which we didn't get a chance to try. The staff were friendly, especially in the restaurant and very...

We had researched thoroughly and spent a year saving for this family holiday. The reception staff were brilliant and we were soon settled in, we had a resort suite which was stunning, clean and full of little extras, I particularly liked the lighting in the wardrobes. We had a few niggles during our stay. Two nights out of five we...

We came to Arran to visit family and decided to book a spa day. We booked 2 massages, for myself and my husband. We were booked in with Chris and he was able to provide relief for my neck and back pain and although I felt a little tender that evening (which he says I would), the next day I...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the heart of the beautiful isle of Arran lies the multi-award winning, family owned Auchrannie Resort. Auchrannie now consists of two four star hotels; the romantic and relaxing ‘House Hotel’ catering for couples and those wanting a more intimate experience whilst the contemporary ‘Spa Resort’ is popular with families and those prefer a more modern feel to their surroundings. In addition, the resort features 30 five-star self-catering lodges (sleeping up to 8 in total luxury and therefore perfect for the extended family), 3 outstanding, award winning restaurants and bars, 2 leisure centres both with pools, destination spa featuring treatments by ESPA and Ishga and an outdoor adventure centre. Arran is Scotland’s most accessible islands, often referred to as "Scotland in Miniature” due to the dramatic contrast between the hills and mountains in the north, and sweeping moorlands on the south of the island. A short 55 minute ferry journey off the Ayrshire coast, Arran is easily reachable by those arriving into any of central Scotland’s main airports as well as those travelling by car, train and coach. Whilst many tourists arrive on the island simply to kick back and relax, the island is packed with attractions and sights for visitors of all ages. ... more   less
