First time visit with my two sisters for a birthday treat! Service, food and facilities were excellent! Love the dog friendly vibe also! We stayed in the newer building with the spa which was lovely. It's more "family friendly" (aka lots of children!) and the pool has more of a leisure centre feel about it and not a serene spa...

We stayed in the Auchrannie Resort Hotel on a Friday and Saturday night as part of a large group. We had filled in the online express check in before we arrived so were checked in and in our room within five minutes of arriving. All of the reception staff we encountered on our stay were nice and very friendly. Checkout...

Just back from a weekend here with my sister for her birthday & honestly cannot fault a thing. Staff in the reception area, pool, restaurants & Segway tours were amazing! We looked into a lodge for another time & got to look through 2 of them, even though it was changeover day and it was busy. The room was lovely,...

I booked an executive suite as a treat for a night away with my husband and it didn't disappoint! You have access to a private area with outdoor hot tub and drinks and snacks (particularly good for the tunnicks tea cakes!) as well as access to the swimming pool and sauna facilities. Was super luxurious and relaxing and can't recommend...

My family and I spent a fantastic Easter Weekend at Auchrannie to celebrate my 70th birthday. Our three rooms in The Executive Suite in The Spa Resort were extremely well furnished. We were a diverse mix: my daughter and her partner: my son his wife and two children and myself. The separate bedroom with bunk beds for the children was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the heart of the beautiful isle of Arran lies the multi-award winning, family owned Auchrannie Resort. Auchrannie now consists of two four star hotels; the romantic and relaxing ‘House Hotel’ catering for couples and those wanting a more intimate experience whilst the contemporary ‘Spa Resort’ is popular with families and those prefer a more modern feel to their surroundings. In addition, the resort features 30 five-star self-catering lodges (sleeping up to 8 in total luxury and therefore perfect for the extended family), 3 outstanding, award winning restaurants and bars, 2 leisure centres both with pools, destination spa featuring treatments by ESPA and Ishga and an outdoor adventure centre. Arran is Scotland’s most accessible islands, often referred to as "Scotland in Miniature” due to the dramatic contrast between the hills and mountains in the north, and sweeping moorlands on the south of the island. A short 55 minute ferry journey off the Ayrshire coast, Arran is easily reachable by those arriving into any of central Scotland’s main airports as well as those travelling by car, train and coach. Whilst many tourists arrive on the island simply to kick back and relax, the island is packed with attractions and sights for visitors of all ages. ... more   less
