A lovely comfortable stay and a warm welcome, especially from Fluffy! The breakfast is generous and tasty and has an amazing view of Brodick Bay and Goatfell. Check-in & out was easy. Our room had an en-suite with a good shower. Bed was comfy, room was warm.

Very helpful and freindly host. Accomodation was clean and comfortable, if not a little outdated. Breakfast was plentyful, but the host did manage to burn most of it albeit on one only, still edable however.

A warm welcome greeted us. The room was fine although we were told it was about to be decorated so no doubt it will look better when this is done. Star of the show is definitely breakfast. Our fruit salad was absolutely delicious, full of fresh fruit. Cooked breakfast was excellent. I was particularly pleased to have the earl grey...

We stayed here for one night on 8th April. The welcome was warm nothing was too much trouble , the room was comfortable & the breakfast was good. I would stay here again. The location is good in Brodick & would be a good based for touring the island.

We used the guest house as a base for climbing Goatfell. We had called ahead and they were able to have one of the rooms ready early which was a great help. The accommodation was excellent, very comfortable and centrally located. Breakfast delicious and the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. We would all definitely return.

Greeted upon arrival with a warm welcome from Allan & Fluffy. Great local knowledge & pointed in the right direction for places to go. Kudos to Allan for making breakfast early to allow me to get up & away for my cycle. Would definite go back.

Well located B&B on the Isle of Arran. Friendly landlord and cute but mad puppy called Fluffy. Easy walk to local restaurants. Room was basic but was clean and had all basic amenities. Full Scottish breakfast with Haggis was good and filling

Very friendly welcome from Alan the owner who after showing us to our room with magnificent views of Goatfell and Brodick Bay made us a welcoming pot of coffee. Nice and cosy hotel, the owner was very helpful and welcoming and also had a cute dog to greet us. The breakfast was great too, filling me up for a day hiking up Goat Fell. I had the room with the spectacular view of the sea and mountains.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Built as a "letting house" in 1920 by a retiring sea captain, Belvedere has always been occupied by holidaymakers. Captain Hamilton brought back South American mahogany as ship's ballast from which our doors and skirting boards are made. We have complemented this with antique furniture from the same period and some much older, although guest bedrooms are all modern and regularly refurbished. ... more   less
