Our room was clean spacious and the twin bed and pillow very comfortable. Tv and shower ( also a bath ) were very good. Staff also very friendly. The full cooked breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cereal and fruit too.
We booked the Blackwaterfoot Lodge online and though it looked cosy, we didn't realise just how charming it was. The room was very comfortable, clean, everything we needed was included. Breakfast was tasty (cereal and fruit, homemade marmalade, cooked Scottish brekkie).

We found The Lodge via a personal recommendation and weren't disappointed. Our hosts Anne and David were really welcoming, greeting us as we arrived on Friday evening with a welcome gin and tonic!
