We visited for a light lunch after walking across from South Queensferry. Food served was not hot and chips not even cooked properly. The barmaid was helpful and exchanged the chips. We were content to stick with the rest of the food as we did not have much time. An older lady then came and asked how our food was...

Very warm welcome. Large comfortable rooms. Food excellent. Close to lovely walks under the railway bridge. All staff were very friendly. Would recommend for couples wanting a quiet weekend away. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

Visited this place for lunch after a horrendous experience in Deep Sea World Cafe. Fairly limited lunch menu which was all in the staff member's head but don't let that put you off. Very nice burgers, chips and coleslaw and 3 soft drinks for £30 (Deep Sea world was charging more than this for much less). Very good atmosphere and...

This wee diamond in the rough is not easy to drive to during the New Forth Bridge road-works but well worth the effort. Homely, friendly, comfy and the best view anywhere of the Forth Bridges !! also has a delicious "Full Monty" breakfast that could "choke a horse" and you wont need to eat again all day :-)

We had been here 2 days and enjoyed our time, the rooms provide all what you need, it's very typical and they serve an opulent breakfast. The pricing is fair - ask for a room with bridge view, if available.

When we arrived , the hotel parking area was full . Full with staff cars and the local van rental vehicles , so we had to park down the street which is heavily painted with double yellow parking lines . On entering , the price we had agreed over the phone went up £10 . The room we were given...

We arrived early and were given our keys and allowed into room early, on opening the room door we noticed how clean the room was and very spacious, the view from our windows was of the Forth Rail bridge and it was amazing as it was clear sunny day. Went down to the bar where everyone were so friendly and...

Stopped here whilst viewing the Forth bridges. Better than the pub grub I'd expected. Had fish and chips and it was beautifully cooked and came with a lovely dressed salad and chef made fresh tartare sauce. Son had Mussels and he really rated them too. To top if off had a window seat with fabulous view of the rail bridge....
