We chanced upon The Woodside late in the day so were delighted they could offer a 'quiet' double room i.e. not facing the road. The service was excellent, very helpful staff showing us the room and immediately adding a sheet to the bedding (it was a very warm evening!) Also helpful with the window opening. Later, we ate in the...

thank you for your review. We are sorry your sleep was disturbed. Although the guests were indeed part of a wedding party the wedding was not in the hotel or even the village. We do manage rooms if wedding parties are part of a wedding in the Hotel.Unfortunately as your booking was late in the day it was the last one available...

The wood side is a hotel that needs some upgrade and refinements! The double bedroom was tight on space and lacked the finer touches. E.g. No biscuits, no pen and paper, no air con in the room, no extractor in e bathroom. Breakfast was disappointing. The cooked breakfast was minimalist. E.g. 1 very thin sausage, 1 piece of bacon, a...

We have just spent a lovely few days in this hotel. Right from arrival to checkout it was a lovely experience. Kyle and Gordon just made our stay. They were so welcoming and friendly. Gordon even gave my husband tips on the best seat to sit in to watch the footy while dining. Thanks for that! 😂😂 seriously though the...

Well this is a typical example of a situation that is found in so many hotels, the public spaces are where the cash is spent and they seem to forget about the rooms. We were in room 10, it has to be said the bathroom was like something out of Falty towers. The suite looked like it was installed in the...

We booked a Monday night stay here recently...we found Aberdour itself by chance on a visit to Deep Sea World with our toddler and couldn't believe what we had been missing out on - the area is just lovely and the views are stunning. We stayed in room 16 which was a great size for us...there was lots of room...

The hotel is easy to find and there is plenty of parking at the rear. The reception and bar staff are very friendly and attentive. sadly the only let down was the condition of the bathroom, all though clean the decor was very tired. Food was ok and not much choice of beers.

Friendly hotel, if we could have found the staff in the evenings the trip would have been near perfect, to get served we visited the foresters up the street to eat and have a social drink. Very friendly very clean and really comfortable for my wife and myself to stay, spoils by the weather but that is not their fault
