We went on a Friday night, first of all can I comment on how good the service was from Daryl and I hope this is passed on to him and he receives the credit he deserves!! What a polite & friendly guy, nothing was an issue to him as he chatted to us while taking orders etc, a real credit...

Thought Id give this place a second chance. £15.50 Carvery not up to scratch....one would need jaws of a shark to bite through the roast beef. A pint £4.10 and a glass of dry white wine £6.00......The bottle that was poured from would not have cost £6......sorry never again......disgrace.

Dear Guest thank you for taking the time to forward your review although somewhat disappointed to read some of your comments. Our carvery is indeed priced at £15.50 for a starter table that includes fresh fish dishes, various terrines, pates, salads, melons etc followed by a soup course and then your selection of Baked Gammon, roast beef and Turkey with...

Beautiful venue, great staff, lovely food and service but the cost of drink really does let the place down. £6 for a glass of wine?? Ridiculous! Shame, as it really is a lovely venue but can't imagine we'd rush back due to the price of the drink

Disappointing! Don't be fooled by the price it only covers a starter and main course. The food is average. Personally I didn't have a good experience and I am still waiting (over two weeks)for the manager to get back to me) so much for customer care! I didn't manage to eat all of the meat and proceeded to wrap this...

Had a fab dinner after missing many years at this great venue right on our doorstep. The recently refurbished Gilmore restaurant is a credit to the hotel with a great ambience. Starters and main were excellent and won't be long before we are back. Great service from Sinead in the restaurant and all credit to Gemma for checking in on...

Having heard that the Millbrook had been done up, we decided to try it mid week as a treat for the family and I am glad we did. Lovely dinner though had quite a lot to choose from on the menu which is unusual as I am a fairly picky person. Staff were lovely even though it was very busy...

Overnight stay celebrating family 50 th Wedding anniversary. The bedroom we were sent to stay in, was missing the television remote control. There were three rugby matches on which my husband wanted to watch. James was sent to help us out and after apologising profusely that none of the others worked, he transferred us to another room. He went way...

HI was working in the area and this hotel suited me perfectly. It was affordable, clean, easy to find in a lovely rural setting. Plenty of parking, friendly staff - modern rooms with wifi. Would stay here again, no complaints. :)
