Just had a great weekend at Burnbake Campsite. Final Dad's camping trip with year 6 from school. All and all the group was 44 strong and we braved the wind to have a wonderful time around the campfire. The woods around the site are great...More

A lovely atmosphere. Lots of campfires in the evenings. The food at the cafe was fab, steak with bernaise sauce, a great salad and fries. Lovely staff in the cafe and shop. Showers need to be hotter. There seemed to be no way of your...More

We are planning to come down again with two families and are worried about the new lodges. Is the site under construction? Is there enough room for two good sized tents and two vehicles, we do not want to camp in the events field. We have never had a problem before but it seems to have changed considerably judging by the reviews.
