An emergency stop here as our planned pub was awful The staff pulled out all the stops to accommodate 26 family and friends. Staff were just the best and food was really well received. And quality and variety superb. Do give this fantastic place a go. Thanks Danny chefs and team you stars

We spent 4 nights at The Quay while visiting family locally. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage space. Breakfast was fine, freshly cooked to order. We were concerned that we would be disturbed by noise from the pub downstairs at night, but this wasn't the case - the only disturbance was early in the morning on...

Our 4 night visit at this charming B&B early in May after a tour of Europe before commencing a UK and Ireland trip. We were immediately made to feel very welcome by the wonderful friendly and helpful staff and management. It was a great place to stay. Our room had magnificent views across the Quay, extremely clean, compact, however with...

The food was absolutely incredible at this pub. I haven't had quality food like it in years. Pubs just don't give quality anymore but this one definitely does. Kids menus fantastic and large portions all around. Staff very friendly and helpful, even to help my son cut his steak while I was busy helping my other child. Prices very good...

Change of management 17.04.2016 so this can only get better. Smashing position, just on the river but.. bedroom not just tired but comatose, dirty, smelly and tiny, 8ftx9.5ft. The bed, a very small double, is so short [to fit in the room] that my feet hung over the end - I am 5'5 so not overtall. Sheets polyester and well...

My husband & I went there for dinner it was a Groupon deal given to us as a present. The service was excellent & we were made to feel very welcome we were told we could have anything we wanted to eat including the specials board. If we had wanted steak that was a £4 supplement. The food was excellent...

We had lunch in this pub today. The fish and chips were delicious - not too much batter. We had locally brewed beer and cider and found the pub and perfect place for a relaxed lunch. Friendly staff too.

Just had a wonderful meal here. Couldn't fault the hospitality, service and as for the food - absolutely wonderful! Would give more than 5 stars if we could. Lobster and crab bisque - perfect. Chicken liver parfait - amazing. The black rock grill is great, your food cooked in front of you exactly the way you want it cooked. The...
