My husband and I had a wonderful restful stay, the staff cosseted us (especially appreciated as my husband has vascular dementia) The food was delicious and one had a very varied choice. Rooms large and the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms likewise with enormous baths.

One cannot fault the beautiful setting and the gorgeous gardens. However the decor needs some freshening up as it is beginning to look from a bygone era and tired. There is a genuine warmth in the welcome but the owner is perhaps a little exhausted!
