Lovely hotel, stunning views, comfortable rooms, everything you could want. Food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. It has stunning views across the beach both by day and night. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything you could want including bottled water.

I was in a rush when I booked The Heights and did not have time to read reviews. I thought when I made the booking the room had a sea view. However on arrival no bedrooms have sea view (although it is up high and has a lovely view) as only the restaurant has the view. I also again when...

This is the third time we have stayed here. The delux room we had was well appointment. clean and roomy. The view from the restaurant was magnificent . We had some lovely sunset photographs. The menu was satisfactory and because we were there at the change of the month had new menu. The one problem was that on one evening...

My granddaughter and I were very hungry and after false attempts to get food in the sun went to the Portland Heights for a drink and a sandwich. We had crab sandwiches and a drink, the service was good and the view outstanding as we sat on the balcony on a windless day. The brown bread was really good but...

We shall inform our Chef to ensure that this is brought to...

I've been to The Heights Hotel on and off since the early 80s, when RNAS Osprey still flew Lynx helicopters from the base. Nothing really changes at The Heights; a bit of a refurb here, a lick of paint there. Nothing ambitious. There's still the musty damp smell in bathrooms - which, incidentally, are looking a bit tired (at least...

We went to the Bistro on 1st October and loved the restaurant , and staff, what a disappointment with the food, fish and chips, batter was so thick it was stodgy and the fish was not consistent with a good Cod, very small, the chips were only half cooked and tasted really raw, tartare sauce was cheep from a jar,...

We stayed in this hotel for one night. Location is fantastic and that's the best selling point for this hotel.
