We stayed in the family room for 3 nights over the August bank holiday weekend. The room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. It was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfy. Breakfast arrived in a picnic basket, it was plentiful and delicious. We ate in the pub restaurant the first night of our stay, the crab was superb. The...

We stayed here for the first time earlier this month and really enjoyed ourselves. Our room was well decorated and perfectly adequate in size. We were really impressed by the breakfast hamper idea and thought it was really well presented with quality contents. Stacey and team were very welcoming and the evening meal was very good. (I can't understand anyone...

This property is essentially a pub with 5 rooms available on a B&B basis. Access to the rooms is via an external metal staircase at the rear of the hotel within the enclosed rear garden. Rooms are quite small especially given the size of the bed, leaving little space for a suitcase on the floor. The wifi signal is very...

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I'm sorry our accommodation and Portland just wasn't for you. It is very disappointing to be rated average. Thank you for your kind comments regarding our breakfast hamper, many people have been enjoying taking their hamper into our lovely garden during the warmer months and enjoying the early morning sunshine....

We were made to feel welcomed and well looked after from the moment we arrived at The New Inn. All staff were brilliantly attentive and seemed to thoroughly enjoy their jobs! We ate at the restaurant both nights and had a lovely (very reasonably priced) Sunday lunch before heading home. My compliments to the chef every time! A fantastic folder...

Just stayed for one night but it was all very easy and welcoming. Lovely breakfast hamper dropped off outside the door in the morning-great idea.Room was lovely and clean. Comfortable bed. Would have liked to have tried the restaurant but didn't have the time. Food looked really good though. Tip for owners, maybe a room freshener for the loo as...

We arrived at The New Inn in Portland, Dorset and were made very welcome, our room above the restaurant overlooked the main road. It was quite warm and we had the window open. Despite being on a main road the traffic noise was minimal and didn't disturb our sleep. Breakfast was novel, a picnic basket with more than enough to...

Booked this lovely B & B to take my daughter for a break before her baby is born in July. The room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Couldn't rate this lovely place highly enough! Great location, lovely room, amazing seafood (and the cheese board is awesome) and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had an early start the following morning so they made up our breakfast hamper the night before.

We stayed for Valentine's night. Our room was lovely, warm and spotlessly clean. They've thought of everything here including an ipod docking station. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows very snuggly. We had a throw if we were cold in the night, but we didn't need it. The cherry on top was the beautiful breakfast hamper.
