Very clean hotel, and lovely room but not the best of views. Very few staff around during the day-time, but there is a café-bar where you can get a snack or a drink. Disappointed in the restaurant as my husband had the venison which was 'tough as leather' and my chicken was over-cooked. However, we had home-made soup in the...

The hotel is easy to find and located between Lyme Regis and Charmouth. The hotel is located just past the turn off to Lyme Regis on the A3052. It has extensive grounds, including a pool, putting course and nature park. Parking is available on site, next to the hotel. The hotel itself is clean and well run. Our room, on...

We were staying in the cottages around the corner, but we used the restaurant in the hotel on the Sunday for our family dinner. The restaurant was able to host all 11 of us comfortably and the food was lovely, with a good selection and refill of vegetables.

The Fernhill Hotel is a couple of miles inland from the coast, behind a wooded ridge, between Charmouth and Lyme Regis - a quiet, green location with easy access to all the interesting places along the Jurassic Coast. There is a group of holiday cottages behind the hotel building but otherwise just countryside. It's a pleasant early-Victorian building, comfortable and...

On behalf of the whole family, I would like to thank you and your staff for making us all very welcome and giving us such an excellent lunch. The table layout was a brilliant idea and the room looked very impressive when we first entered it. We all got what we’d asked for (even the picky ones) and the food...

An older style hotel, so don't expect modern style minimalist decor, however the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff seems to be entirely made up of local young girls, some of which have more experience than others, however, they all try their best so it's hard to get too bent out of shape when the service becomes a...
