A very last minute weekend break in Dorset meant my usual thorough research went out the window for simple availability for me my partner and our dog. so it felt like we were taking a bit of a risk on staying at Colly farm. However nothing could be further from the truth. not only is it surrounded by beautiful countryside... More

We had a wonderful time staying with Sue and John. Brilliant hosts, a lovely setting and a top breakfast. Many thanks must go to Sue who also went out of her way to give us a lift to a local vineyard so we could enjoy a tour without worrying about having to drive ourselves.

I spent three nights with my dog Buster at Colly Farm and we both received a warm welcome from Sue and John, and their dogs. My room in the beautiful house was spacious and comfortable overlooking the delightful gardens. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with eggs from the resident chickens. The location is ideally positioned to explore this stunning part... More

My partner John and I stayed for one night earlier in June together with our golden retriever Rupert, the farm house is absolutely charming and Sue and John the owners made the three of us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and Rupert especially enjoyed it! We had a superb breakfast and would thoroughly recommend the farm house... More

We stayed for a weekend with our baby daughter, everything was absolutely wonderful. We were greeted so warmly by John, Sue and the dogs we couldn't help but feel at home. The farmhouse is so pretty and the garden is stunning. Our room and en suite were clean and well appointed. There was even a proper cot (not a travel... More

We booked at Colly Farm very much at last minute. What an absolute gem of a place in rural Dorset, but close to natural coastal treasures and some fine eateries and pubs. My wife and I, plus two children (aged 10 and 7) and not to forget a Brown Labrador, were made to feel very welcome. We were given tea... More

We were pleased with the look of the cottage and it was quiet and comfortable. Helen the housekeeper was very helpful with information on the local area. There were a couple of minor issues but the main one was as it is no longer a B&B, there was no milk or anything to make a cup of tea when you... More

We always greet our guests with tea. However, sadly on this occasion we were overseas! Wifi is available in the house and guests are very welcome to use it at anytime. Sadly again being away this was not possible. We offer our apologies for any inconvenience caused. More

We have just returned from a truly lovely weekend away. The farm is stunning and the hosts just lovely. Sue could not have been more accommodating with our changing arrival times and newborn baby. . Thank you Sue and John, we really look forward to coming back and staying for longer.

Down a lane off the centre of the small village of Dottery - yet less than a couple of miles from Bridport and all it has to offer. If you want peace and quiet, handy walks from the door (a footpath goes through the farm) with discrete hosts this is the place for you
